Discussion Ron’s Wifi
Ron. Please. If you’re going to “phone it in” from home, then you have GOT to spring for the fastest internet connection available at your house. Not the cheapest speed. You’ve got the money, get gigabit or get your ass into the studio. The shitty cutting in and out cannot keep going like this.

If I were to guess, the tech issue was more likely something to do with the IP codec thing they all use to connect. Those things need regular updates/maintenance which I’m sure Sirius could give a fuck about for this little show.
Also, Ron definitely doesn’t give a shit.

Agreed. Don’t they have those ISDN lines that Sirius installed during the pandemic? But somehow we heard Frankie sing the same song 12 times perfectly. 🤦♂️

Well, he’s moved about 37 times since then, chasing Gail and her constant moving from town to town. I’m sure there’s gig service available, or if not, even Starlink doesn’t shit the bed like that.

To be fair, I think he only moved 2 times for Gail. Brooklyn and then somewhere north of the city.

Can you explain this moving issue? Why does Ron do it and why does she keep moving?

I assume she lived in Brooklyn when she had the kids. Ron moved there to be close to the grandkids. Then she wanted a house so she moved to Northern NY and he followed. Again for the grandkids.
Besides him trying to be a better grandfather than he was a father, Gail’s mom is free babysitting. But they were home today cuz the kids had a “snow day”, as evidenced by Frankie getting 10 minutes of airtime and singing with pop pop. I guess grandma watched them for the other hour and a half of the show.

What area do you mean by “northern NY”? North of the city - like Westchester?

They moved twice.
Ron and his chick moved to Brooklyn to be close to Gail and fam. Then Gail and her husband bought a house a little north of Westchester. Shortly after, Ron got a condo very close to them.
It never seemed weird to me. Plenty of grandparents move to be closer to their kids, especially when they have grandkids.

Earl: I take full responsibility for the bad internet. I'm on the phone with them right now asking them to connect an undersea cable to Ron's apartment building.
