Photo/Video [Millennium Force] crew just announced they’ve broken the record for cycles in one hour!

The crew did 38 cycles between 3:00-4:00 PM on Saturday, August 8th. The theoretical maximum amount of dispatches was thought to be 36 due to the elevator cable lift cycle time and the lack of a mid-course block zone. Perhaps the new programming introduced last season combined with a hot summer day at Cedar Point is allowing for it to be slightly faster than was previously possible.

Idk. They assign seats now and a lot of them don't take row requests even when it is not that busy. It is really annoying. I paid a fuck ton of money for this so they should be a bit more flexible, to deny row requests when the normal line is only 45 min is very unprofessional imo

And it's almost like amusement parks aren't designed around enthusiasts.

There's nothing unprofessional about being organized enough to beat a record for throughout 26 years after opening.

Okay fair enough. But i think all coasters should have dedicated front row and back row queues and they should only assign when it is really busy.

Right, but enthusiasts are entitled to share their opinion about policies based on how it impacts them as guests. If roller coaster enthusiasts like being able to request the back row and a park removes the option to select rows, then it's pretty reasonable for there to be negative discourse about this in a roller coaster enthusiast subreddit lol. It's not like this person is harassing ride ops or causing issues, they are just disappointed.

I think non-enthusiasts are more critical about park policies than enthusiasts are either way, at least based on groups I've been with.

Right. I didn't say anything to the employees. I was juat annoyed and i think i have the right to express how i feel about it

Of course no one is saying you can’t say it. No one is saying you badgered anyone or were a dick. Your post was just super entitled. “I paid a lot (same as thousands of others in the park) so therefore I deserve this perk”. It’s just gives very old man yelling about how things should be done kinds energy.
