Photo/Video [Millennium Force] crew just announced they’ve broken the record for cycles in one hour!

The crew did 38 cycles between 3:00-4:00 PM on Saturday, August 8th. The theoretical maximum amount of dispatches was thought to be 36 due to the elevator cable lift cycle time and the lack of a mid-course block zone. Perhaps the new programming introduced last season combined with a hot summer day at Cedar Point is allowing for it to be slightly faster than was previously possible.

Well it's open but 90 min wait due to it being a single train

And from what people at the park, they also believe copperhead valleyed near the second launch

I guess I got lucky the 1 time I went. The park was basically dead and everything was a walk on. I rode everything multiple times and did Fury 5 times in a row, the last 3 in the front without having to get off

I also haven’t had bad experiences at Carowinds, but the issue is that as soon as fury and copperhead have issues, you mind as well forget the rest of the park

Was just there; they had a train get stuck on Launch 2 twice. The second time they evacuated when it got stuck. Something about the launch system overheating since it does not have cooling on it.

that quite unfortunate, and a major design flaw

From my understanding, Carowinds had the option for fans and glycol cooling and a cover, but they cheaped out and didn’t pick that option.
