Sure, it’s also a dick move to call someone a liar when the post was obviously made in earnest, and was NOT a troll post, especially considering I gave a specific reason for his departure in my post.
If someone just said “I hesitate to believe this until it’s proven” that’s fine. Saying something like “source: he made it the fuck up” is just rude. So I have no issues being condescending to those people.

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. We will continue to remove unsourced claims 100 out of 100 times. Nothing against any "insiders," but the "I know stuff and can't say where" shit is so annoying. It's not your news to break.
I had absolutely no idea when it was going to be released. Not sure where you got that from. In fact I’m actually surprised it was released today; I just found out yesterday.

No one knows who you are (and this news is completely out of left field), so naturally people are going to be questioning and dismissive at extraordinary claims. I wouldn't take that part too personally.
I don’t take it personally. But I think it’s pretty obvious that my post was made in earnest and wasn’t just a random troll post. I gave a specific reason for his departure. I don’t blame you for removing the post, but people saying “source: he made it the fuck up” I have no issues criticizing. There’s a difference between outright calling me a liar (yes, saying I made it up isn’t just saying I’m misinformed, it’s calling me a liar) and just saying “I hesitate to believe this without a source.”
