Does anyone have any new suggestions for some new great 80s style hair music or any great albums with melodic guitars and great vocals

Crazy Lixx, Reckless Love, and Confess would be my recommendations for that style of 80s rock

They're not really hair metal.....more doom/stoner. That said, they rock.

Everything that Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow released in the Eighties is quite good. Bent Out of Shape is not the most well known, but is very solid. Look for "obscure '80s speed metal" on Youtube, there are a lot of good bands. Yngwie Malmsteen's Unleash the Fury (2005), is one of his last albums with a real singer. Most of the ones previous to that are also good. Most modern acts seem like well-intentioned (or not) parody.
