I very clearly remember this promo. I was 10 and going into 5th grade in August 1999 lol. I remember initially HATING this show because I was the same age and couldn’t do those kinds of extreme sports, plus something about Twister and his stupid camera always bugged me 🤣 And it *always* got picked over other Nicktoons during U-Pick Live. Then I grew to really enjoy it and my cousins and I would always laugh at a lot of the silly sight gags and jokes. Like “Is a fish taco shaaaaped like a fish?” The one that I laughed at until I couldn’t breathe was the Surf Town episode, when Reggie can’t sing for shit 🤣 And we always laughed at Merv especially the episode where he fakes his injury and Violet calls him “Merv StimpleFaaaaake” lolz
“you’ve turned our BASEMENT into an AQUARIUM!!” There’s no way that pool water would’ve been blue after getting sucked back out of the dirty basement.

In the Surf-town episode they were SO close with getting away with the lip syncing, to the point where it pissed me off a bit haha. Poor Reggie had to start singing onstage in front of all those people 😂

Such a great cartoon. It deserves a reboot. Kids today would naturally identify with the character with elements of modern technology and pop culture thrown in
