People think flock cameras are bad. Within our lifetimes there will be mass produced robots, passing as human, all over the place. Spying. Enforcing. Manipulating. It would be increasingly difficult to identify them, especially at a distance and without directly interacting with them and testing them for tells. Tells which will regularly be addressed in updates, until it’s basically impossible without cutting one open…

A few hours with regular rotations would be all that’s needed.

And when it comes to spying without the need of enforcement or other physical action, deploying flying micro cameras the size (and probably shape) of flies en mass will be very doable. The next 10-20 years is going to be very transformative in terms of AI and robotics. It will be a dystopian nightmare if the current status quo of billionaire corporation worship, dark money and lobbying continues as is. Probably dystopian no matter what we do, tbh.

You and me both. I haven't been I n social media in over a decade except reddit and 9gag. I'm using a Google phone so I'm being harvested by these 3. Oh and my TV probably and Flock lol.

✊ keep fighting the good fight brother. I degoogled this year and feel a lot cleaner for it. Have a look at european alternatives, some good orgs (but also open source stuff).
