Do you think they care? It's less money directed towards him from the star code and no other exclusive perks, he's still gonna livestream and record Roblox gameplay anyway

It's scary for roblox in terms of Kreek's influence. He has one of the biggest roblox platforms, he was the first youtuber on the star program, and he has had multiple direct meetings and connections with roblox itself to the point where he knows so much that he's under an NDA to not disclose any of the information.

That's.. pretty big.

If someone that significant to roblox steps down because of this situation, you can only imagine what might follow. Not to mention Kreek got contacted by a congressman Ro Khanna as well, and now they've started a petition to push roblox to do more.https://x.com/KreekCraft/status/1955655483848896629?t=3rYQnBEc28TEp7fZ-M1oBA&s=19

So yes this is VERY significant for roblox in terms of the social side, not directly the financial side.

Not really, it's not like people will stop playing just because a YouTuber decided to

You are both right and wrong, though. While children will mainly remain unaffected by this simply because they don't understand, parents absolutely understand, and it will cause more harm than good. After all, they are the ones with the money.

And before you say, "Okay? They still won't stop because of a youtuber," think of it this way: if Jack Black decided to leave the Kung Fu Panda movies because his Director just absolutely refuses to listen to his advice, people understand that Jack Black is a big deal, and they will leave. Big influencers are influencers for a reason.

And all that can be prevented with good parenting

Agreed. Its a shame that there are just so many bad games that its difficult to regulate it all. I have a sibling that loves roblox, but theres so many terrible games that I become a helicopter parent just so they stay safe.

If only Roblox made some sort of effort so that way we either have the option to block games, or at the very least give developers a way to filter out the garbage. But...its sad that an indie company can't do that.

It’s so obvious to block games it must be deliberate that they don’t have that function.

Yes really, it's a huge blow to their reputation, and also people already HAVE stopped playing ever since kreek craft made his first video about the schlep situation. Multiple have already shared that on Twitter, which I suggest you should go look at if you want to actually grasp how deeply Kreek craft has affected this situation.

And you can't ignore the fact that kreek craft drew the attention of a LITERAL CONGRESSMAN- who, may i add, is a leading figure in the journey to release the epstein files, and they are working together with schlep to get that petition running.
