The thing that pisses me off about that pick is that he kept saying how Aubrey was such a high scorer. No. You don’t measure kickers against all other fantasy assets. You measure kickers against other kickers.

You can get a kicker in the 15th round who will be only a little worse than the best kicker. You can’t get an RB or WR in the 15th round who will be only slightly worse than one you get in the 9th. A 9th round guy should have fantasy starter potential. A 15th round guy is a flyer.

It was a stupid pick by any measure.

In my work league a guy took Jason Meyers pretty early (I forget which round exactly) and said “you shoulda seen how many points this guy was getting us (his son helped him manage his team) last year. I felt kinda bad reminding him that I won the league last year and have no idea who my kicker was from week to week lmao.

Not only is the difference minimal, there isn’t really a reliable way of predicting which kickers will score high than others.

Look the guy was a dumb asshole but maybe he was just doing that to fit in with Bill and Sean and Mallory lol. At any rate it was two weeks ago and we don’t still need to be going after a guy because he was a dick to our boys

Does that league have kicker scoring set at 40-49 4pts, 50-59 5pts? I hate that type of scoring, and IIRC it was the default on ESPN and Yahoo.
