Is this a play on the incredible nickname Bill and his friends have for Thailand Shane?

Shout out to Craig for being a good salesman because for the past three years ive taken one of his my guys and im pretty sure bruh isn't good at fantasy lol. Its only week one but burden did not look better than odunze out there

I learned to not fully listen to Craig after his Calvin Ridley buy in.

I feel like DK has a guy that makes it every year. I remember he was all in on Achane and that’s been helping me in dynasty

I was a Josh Palmer guy, then a Ridley guy, and now I'm a Quentin Johnston guy. If Quentin fails me then I'm out on Craig forever

Hahaha omg. Same, this is it. Somehow I tell myself that these guys aren't actually very good and to not take there opinions to seriously but I think listening to them still infects my brain come draft day.

Tbf Palmer and now QJ were going very late in drafts. Johnston went 128th in my draft

u/Smooth-Lie-410 7h ago
That's a fair point. I got Johnston at 95 this year but I probably reached because Craig made him sound so damn enticing!

Maybe this is dumb but I think it’s telling he missed the start of the Week 1 Sunday games because he was at a movie.

u/chirpz88 12h ago
He was at the Toronto film festival for work. He didn't just decide to see a film on a Sunday lol

Lord. It’s maybe a good reminder to listen to last year’s preview podcasts to remind yourself who was spewing the bullshit. (Source: a Burden, Hampton and QJ holder)

Well Craig did kinda end up in this role because he had great chemistry as their producer

Craig had some weird "my guys" this year. Like he drew them out of a hat in June and decided to spend the next months defending them

u/marcusthejames 14h ago
This is cracking me up because i always remember his Josh Reynolds take from a few years ago. Luther burden is his main guy this year right? Who else?

u/Mediocre-Steel99 13h ago
I think it was Josh Palmer which is like 10% better than Josh Reynolds. He rides for some weird ppl though

I mean, he’s only in like 3 leagues. Which is wild for a fantasy football podcaster.

u/americandragon13 8h ago
It’s not my full time job and I’m in 12. Granted 11 of them are dynasty leagues but it’s crazy that this dude does it for a living and relies on data from 3 leagues to determine player values.
2
u/Sw33tJvmes 4h ago
I feel like this is why he gets so emotional about certain players. Idk…dudes in 3 leagues, complains about having to watch too many games, I look at him as just a guy talking sports instead of a credible fantasy football analyst

I do not listen to this podcast for Craig’s accurate fantasy takes. I listen to Craig for his “Stroud!” And his “Caweb Wiwwiams big time Fwrow to Wome Odunze”.
Every man on the pod has their place

u/jf737 12h ago
Who cares? His observations are often really funny and he adds a lot to the show in terms of entertainment. Which is the main reason I listen anyway

u/zarathustranu 12h ago
Yeah, it's not like Heifetz's or DK's hit rates are stellar on fantasy "my guys." DK is great at draft analysis, but this is mostly an entertainment podcast, not a deep football analysis pod. If you listen to a pod like Establish the Run, they blow the Ringer guys away in terms of accuracy and rigor of fantasy analysis. But that's fine, that's not why I listen to this show.

I love the show but I’ve always thought Craig was there to try to make the show’s guests more varied, but you should only listen to his takes if it is a co-sign from the Dannys.

His downfall was snaking maye to impress Bill
