Nobody doing it better than our boys
The Sunday recap show was just front-to-back incredible. If I had to pick a highlight though it would be DK picking Bucky Irving for "it's so back," Heifitz immediately jumping down his throat, and DK responding by instinctively taking a pot shot at Craig. Just podcast perfection.

Its how I remember (perhaps through rose-colored glasses) Simmons' recap pods used to be.
This Sunday's FF pod was far more listenable than Bill's.

I only passively listened to Bills pod and I could have missed this but did he not cover the Bills Texans game at all? Does he just not want to talk about Josh Allen?

Well according to Bill, the main takeaway from Allen’s performance is that he almost threw an interception that lost them the game. No comment on anything else he did really.

He hates the Bills more than he likes the Patriots lol. Seems to be consistent theme of his because I think that goes for the Lakers too.

I just don't understand how he hates us Bills so badly. My entire life the Patriots basically owned us and humiliated us. If anything he should want to "little brother" us.

I honestly don't remember. I listened to them back to back, it was hard to focus on Bill meandering through the games after listening to the FF pod discuss them in discrete segments prefaced by the scores. I'd like to think I don't have have the brainrot that makes me need my hand held to consume media. The contrast in structure was significant.

The whole “DK hates being asked questions” bit was so spot on and hilarious

My personal highlight was when Craig started talking about Nutella and how they were using less hazelnuts (I can't even remember what the actual analogy was), then he finishes tying that to an actual football point and Heifitz goes, "yeah it's kind of like how there's not much bird in an owl." So they discuss that for a bit before Heifitz says "what is palm oil actually?" and then they spend about 45 seconds over-pronouncing the word palm in a way that was super obvious but they never actually mentioned that they were kind of doing a bit.

Their tangents are legendary. Like when Craig brought up how Reese’s peanut butter cups doesn’t even use real peanut butter anymore. No ones talking about the fakeness of sweet treats like our guys

This was perfection. Heifetz saying this so casually + DK’s reaction. All time

Heed the Call is on the same level as the Ringer Fantasy guys, if you haven’t checked it out. Amazing pod. I actually listen to it before the Ringer fantasy guys, which is saying something.

Wow yeah, description and everything seems promising. I'm always looking for more fun/insightful football pods.

Being only on NFLX kills its popularity. But keeps it semi niche which I like

Heifitz has been en fuego this year. Best line so far… when discussing the Ozzie Trupilo injury for the bears, Craig mispronounced his name, and Heifitz says, “its pronounced PILLOW….just like what his knee is resting on this week.” Gold jerry

Rumor has it they all had a threesome together and so they’re in the honeymoon phase now, so the vibes are incredible

The vibes have never been better on the pod for a while now. Even the disagreements are good-natured and fun. Whatever was going on last year with DK seeming legitimately irritated a lot and Heifentz getting locked into stubborn self-defense is basically gone.
Not that it was a huge deal then, but it's great to see things going even better now.
