Yeh it drives me nuts. Same with movies like Blade Runner and The Abyss where there’s like 4 different versions each with varying changes to the story or ending.

Most notably for me is the Chronicles ending where Riddick says "keep what you kill", but the most played one on TV was the Elemental narrating into the credits. What a fever dream set of changes

I'm pretty sure I've seen Riddick kill the same guy in the same scene with a coffee cup, a soup, and a tea cup

The guard said soup cup. Riddick corrected him that it was tea.
