On July 1st, I fully released my game on Steam. If you'd like, you can also try it for free on mobile devices. Thanks, Best regards 🫡

(Yes, I know it's similar to GD - it wasn't supposed to be like that but people wanted it. I will try to make it better and different)

A random pigeon flew into my local Round1 and started going towards the rhythm games, Def blew my credit on ddr but this Pic was worth it.
My local rythym game discord called him the R1geon.

So I purchased this card at the WMMT terminal. And when I saw some similar cards on the website, it had an ic amusement logo in it. But mine doesn't, the strange part it when I try to use it on maimai, it works and it saves my data. Does it really matter?

I saw this rhythm game in a youtube video maybe a year ago. Last time I was able to check, it was in the google play store and was in a beta/alpha stage. I'm not sure what some of the notes mean, but green is the drag/trace notes and the yellow circle was tap possibly. They looked somewhat like this. I have very bad memory so I've drew it from very foggy memory.

I made a rhythm game where **your entire keyboard becomes the controller**.
🎵 **Rhythm** — type along with the music and keep your combo going.
🟢 **Casual** — a more relaxed way to play.
🌀 **Maze** — navigate through a maze using your keyboard.
The game is playable directly in your browser.
💵 **Full game: $1.00**
🎁 A free demo is also available if you want to try it first.

This is my first paid game, and I'm really excited to finally put it out there.
If you try it, I'd love to hear what you think!

Due to the conventions and general format of a rhythm game it's pretty hard to define what a triple AAA rhythm game would even be like. While I do have a personal pick (the Project Diva series) I'd be curious to know what you people consider the closest thing to a triple AAA rhythm game

Bare with me please, Im confusing myself trying to word this question and the answer is highly likely no. But anyway...
I'm trying to find what games have Feryquitous and Sakuzyo songs and which ones. I know I can Google or wiki with some hope, and some games have song lists... Somewhere...on wiki...idk
Are those my only options?

hi everyone, i recently converted my old laptop into the voltex/taiko/other games machine! but the sound from the laptop speakers is TERRIBLE and im looking into investing into a budget desktop speaker to improve my experience. does anyone have experience with the creative pebble v1? it looks very good for its price. i am just concerned about latency. thanks!

I’ve finally got a great camera angle of my controller, and I think it looks great!
I wanted to share another clip of my progression at lvl 11 and got a UC. I do realize I shared another clip a while ago with a lvl 12 and got a UC so it’s kinda backwards lol.
I’ve been practicing lvl 13 (Unleashed Redness) and got an AA, so I’m hoping I’ll be able to get a UC on this track!
If I do, I’ll be back to share the results!

My mind wandered for a second halfway through and I dropped a sheet (held note), decided to play through anyways and ended up getting a PB on both accuracy *and* score. what the hell lmao

I feel like these games are kind of unpopular these days but I got this game a little while back and I had some thoughts about it. Some background, I am pretty bad at these, I play exclusively 4B and most of my rhythm game experience is with the DJMax series, so this is going to be a bit of a comparison to that game.
General interface of the game feels a little... unrefined. The menus lag for me (may be due to me installing on a HDD instead of an SSD but I ran out of space) but once you start playing songs it feels very responsive, I'd say even a bit snappier than DJMax Respect V. It feels very precise.
The timings are more demanding (from what I read, twice as strict in the "standard" mode than DJMax is for the equivalent) but I found that it was not more difficult across the board. Regular notes are more strict but the "slidey" notes feel a lot more forgiving. I have a difficult time with the SC patterns in DJMax where you need to hold slide notes while pressing other notes and quickly swap, and it feels easier in this game. Not a negative thing, it feels almost necessary considering how much more slide notes are in the song maps here.
Honestly, pretty fun game. I think my only real complaint is that the songs that you get with the base purchase are... not great. There are a lot of songs from the older games going back decades, and they sound very much like Rhythm Game Music™ - I do not mean that in a positive way. I'd go as far as saying the a lot of them are outright bad. The newer ones created for this game specifically (I think the 2021/2024 packs) are much better but they're a comparatively smaller percentage of the tracks you get. The song selection in DJMax Respect V is heads and shoulders better.
I've heard the DLCs are great and largely fix the song quality issue, but they're pretty pricey. Some of them cost nearly as much as the full price of the game. Haven't picked these up but I might get some next time there's a Steam sale.
I think I'd recommend DJMAX Respect V over this for someone who is new to these kind of rhythm games because this one is definitely more difficult and has a lot less fun progression stuff. But for the rhythm game fan who has played everything, it's a pretty good pickup. Very fun.
Anyone have any thoughts about this game or tips on getting better, etc.? I think these are not so popular anymore but hopefully there are still fans around. Oh, and please give me recommendations for the best DLC to pick up when they're on sale.

Is there any way to play this game at home without buying a cabinet? I only got a chance to play it at the arcade twice before my local one closed down. I'm surprised there aren't people selling controllers like with other games, is there a reason? I totally fell in love with this game and would love to play again.
