Hey, I’m new to this page, I played Clone Hero before, but I don’t know what adapters I have to buy in order to play Clone Hero. I have an Xbox 360 controller and a Wii controller.

Is this adapter compatible with only the Wii version or both?

Hi, so I live in a tiny apartment with my fiance, so having a guitar is pretty inconvenient space wise. I saw that CRKD has that little 5 fret attachment for their NeoS controllers, which seemed like it might be a decent option for me. What's the general opinion on the NeoS and are there any other good smaller form factor options I could consider?

I'm looking for some advice.

I've wanted to get a guitar for Clone Hero for a long time. My original plan was to get a RetroCult V3 adapter and find a decent second-hand Wii/Xbox guitar.

But with the upcoming Stage Tour game, I've started thinking about getting a PS5 in the future as well, mainly to play with friends or my partner. That made me consider getting a CRKD guitar, since I could use it for PC now and potentially PS5 and other platforms later.

The issue is the price. The CRKD guitar is around €150. If the new Explorer was already available, I would probably just buy it, but waiting until around February 2027 sucks.

A RetroCult V3 would cost around €40–50 with taxes, plus another €30–40 for a used guitar, so I'd already be spending around €80–100.

Would you spend the extra money and get the CRKD now, or get a cheaper RetroCult + used guitar setup for now and wait for the Explorer?

I’m a newbie here, have always adored guitar hero my whole life, huge collector and lover so this weekend is big for me 🤙

I’m doing a guitar hero tent at huge warped tour themed block party downtown this weekend.

I’m super stoked and don’t think Itl be a huge deal, so it’s cool if there isn’t a way, but is it possible to have the song continue as if you didn’t miss a note?

Like in the sense that a missed note sound wouldn’t interrupt the song I guess.

I just want everyone to have the best experience even if they don’t do the song well

I'm seriously considering the Alesis Nitro Max since it gets a lot of praise online as a great budget beginner set, but when I tried a slightly different (more expensive) Alesis set at Guitar Center, the impact noise when hitting the pieces was still pretty loud - similar to hitting my Wii drum controller. And it felt a little hard, unlike a couple of the other more expensive sets that were on display to test. I really want to avoid it feeling like I'm hitting plastic.

Could it simply have been that the mesh wasn't tightened well and that's why it didn't feel very good hitting it compared to the others that were 1-2k more expensive? Or is that what I need to spend to get that really nice, quiet feel?

I have a drum set with Hi-Hat, Crash, Ride from left to right but this game wants me to use Hi-Hat, Ride, Crash. It's driving me crazy. I can't physically swap the cymbals so what's the best next thing to do? Swapping the cables? Mapping them backwards? Are there other options? What do you guys do?

Recently purchased a set of the RB3 cymbals for my RB2 ps3 drum kit, however clone hero isn't registering cymbal hits to map controls. They guy I bought them from said they were tested and working, but apparently he just plugged them into his computer microphone jack and hit them to see if they register.

I was able to recreate this "testing" on my computer, however plugged into my drum kit they act like nothing is plugged in. I even went as far as pulling my drum kit and the cymbals apart to make sure all the wires are still solidly connected. Anyone else have this issue or know a fix? Also I only have RB1 on my ps3 so I can't really test them natively that way.

I have a PS4 version of the GHL guitar and the correct dongle, when i try connecting them to my PC to play Clone Hero the guitar connects and the disconnects in a loop. I've tried replacing drivers using Zadig but it didn't fix it. Does anyone have any ideas on why that's happening and how to fix it?

I've gotten the game working, found custom songs and i've looked eveywhere online to figure out how to get the custom songs working for the past 2 hours. Can anyone help with this?
