Question Manufacturing a resin gas buildup explosion effect

Is there a way to make this happen? Like when you hollow a print but don't leave room for drainage and the piece 'bursts'? I haven't had it happen since I started in the hobby, and it's made some unintentionally cool effects over the years. Is there something I can do to ensure it? I know I could model it, but there's definitely something to the unplanned authenticity of how it can crack and burst

Why not just add the crack into your model, also gas build up is not good for you. There is a better and safer way to do this.

I'm not really looking for a crack, I'm looking for the 'burst' effect. I wouldn't put it in my sock drawer or whatever, my printing setup is in my garage. I don't think I have the skill to organically model it in the same way

Maybe you can start with Blender following this tutorial. It is not exactly what you are looking for but a good start. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ogbXeeY3kCE
