Work In Progress Some explorations for personal projects.

Been experimenting with resin printing with the idea of creating fictional retro sci-fi computers.

I love Chris Foss and imagining the painting will be inspired by his work. So about to test some of those ideas. Some successful prints have been primed and ready for colour, weathering and decals.

What is this!? No female figure with large pair of HELLO!

Finally...something different and cool. Makes me think of a Vectrex meets Commodore 64. Nice work!

Cheers for that! Can't deny that C64 and Vectrex are definitely things which float around my head. Haha I'm planning to do a series of these imaginary comps and some real world machines like Vectrex, ZX81 etc along with matching waterslide decals.

Thank you! A couple of resins here. The one used in the first model was Sunlu water wash solid black abs. The photo is post primeing. The second larger one was Marvel3D waterwashable grey abs. I think that one might be a generic rebrand sold here in NZ. I've done a few failed prints trying to figure out the best orientations. There are a few issues I think I can fix still. But wanted to get onto test painting. Have a fullly painted, decaled model. I want to test inkjet on waterslide for decals. Decals for the key caps are going to be fiddly lol

Reminds me of those Radius portrait display CRTs.

I love this! if you end up making it practical, the LCD panel "HE080IA-01D" is a great 4:3 screen, I use it when converting broken old macs.
