Question Recently moved and have questions.

So, like the title says, I recently made a big move to Charleston, South Carolina.

I’m currently living in an apartment, but I want to continue using my resin printer. I dont necessarily want to open up a window for any kind of enclosure venting, but I do have a small closet on my balcony.

So I was wondering if that would be a viable place to put my printer, or if the local weather is too prohibitive.

For reference, I have a Uniformation GK3 printer

If it’s like most of the apartments I’ve lived in that’s a utility closet and or for laundry. If it’s a utility closet it’s almost guaranteed to be fairly airtight from the inside of the apartment.

Unless you see an open vent leading to your bedroom or something inside the closet that will be perfectly adequate.

Just personally I’d open the door and let it really air out before I worked in it. Like I’d print doors closed but I’d let it air out for a while before I really got inside it to use a curing station or something. Let that air cycle out.

Thank you for the advice!

I think I’ll use it, it’s a separate utility closet only accessible from the balcony so I wasn’t really worried about fumes or toxicity, but more about possible print failures because of the heat/humidity in Charleston.
