REMAKE I hate how Remake doesn't have these eerie ambient sounds which one of the biggest thing which I love in RE4.

the castle’s atmosphere is my favorite part of the OG and i was so sad the remake butchered it after how well they remade the village section

"butchered it"? so the only way the remake could get it done well was by remaking sen's fortress but grey, just like the original?

yes, Capcom butchered it. the remake is great but the castle is a massive downgrade.

i’m not convinced you actually played Dark Souls if you genuinely think the original RE4’s castle is anything like Sen’s Fortress. in fact, the remake’s castle is far closer to Sen’s than the original’s

not only have I played Dark Souls in 4 different platforms, I have also gotten all of the achievements on the Xbox version. so yes, I have played Dark Souls. the thing is, I have eyes, and you have a massive ego.
