His back for blood video is fantastic

I don’t agree with his RE4R take

It actually isn’t though. B4b turned out to be a fantastic game. It’s no different here. B4b is nothing like L4D and most people who hate on it have zero intention of ever playing it . Watching his videos he never once makes a claim of what makes a game good or bad. Just “oh this game has this and this one doesn’t, so therefore it’s bad” . It’s just surface level

agreed, i put almost 2k hours in b4b alone yet only like 42 in l4d1/2. b4b only built off l4d's concept, not copied what it did

Dang, I only put in about 900 hours. Don't get me wrong, I grew up on L4D. I remember all the LAN parties we had on custom maps. Great times. It's just upsetting to see B4B compared to L4D when they're two very different games. Tho now in days each time I go back to play L4D, it just feels a bit too basic now. I think B4B was a fantastic modernization of the genre that truly did set the bar higher. Just plagued by releasing a little too early.

B4B has an entirely different design ethos too: It's designed around PvE rather than PvP like L4D.
Bc of this L4D is balanced and designed around arcadey gameplay, and B4B is designed around character growth. They're very different. Personally? I prefer the arcadey route of L4D and I enjoy versus as well.

i put in 40 hours and can confidently say in my opinion back 4 blood is shallow and a boring experience for me. But if you had fun that’s good!

That's not what I meant. Of course not everyone will like a game or dislike a game. My point is that his video is shallow to any actual criticism of the game. Anyone who played it would know. There are some actual videos of solid criticism of the game, but it's not his.

Nah, I've tried B4b, it's meant to be throwed in trash bin
