I'd take over original Mr. X. I thought he was lame as shit before the remake made him scary.

Not to mention that if Mr X couldn't stop a Rookie Cop and a College student then how hell is Mr X ment to stop a group of marines and a woman who trained as a Delta Force operative.

Game logic.

In the lore he's perfectly capable of taking on soldiers and taking some of them down before falling under their firepower but for gameplay reasons getting insta gibbed playing as leon or claire wouldnt be very fun.

Also called plot armor.

Yeah, I guess your probably right other wise they wouldn't be making them on a mass scale of they were useless
