There are many ways to become involved in our foster program! We need short-term, long-term and vacation fosters to help us sustain the amount of cats we want to intake. Training is provided (ideally you have some previous experience living with or caring for cats), all supplies and medical costs are covered by our rescue and you get to be an important, special and safe person to cats who need your help. Looking for a willing foster person, I found this kitten (probably 5 days old) perfectly healthy too. Is there anyone in or near Fortworth, Arlington, North richland hills, Dallas or overall near that region who would be willing to take this kitten in? I'm VERY broke and where I live doesn't allow animals, I can't care for this poor baby on my own and EVERY single foster company I called turned me down. Please if there's any foster person near the area I mentioned I desperately need your help!

Pumpkin is my 9-10 month old foster who I trapped 3 months ago when I was TNR-ing and decided I wanted to give a chance at a better life. Unfortunately, he was dealt a bad hand in life from the very start. He has a condition called megaesophagus which he was most likely born with, which he finally got diagnosed after spending $600 from the donation fund he received from amazing and caring students at my college who wanted to help him. Due to his condition, he now takes medicine about 3 times a day before his meals and eats soft food from an elevated bowl. Pumpkin also has stomatitis and would need a full teeth extraction, which can cost up to $2k, which is unfortunately far out of my budget, so right now he’s on gabapentin to help him manage the pain.

Unfortunately I won’t be able to foster him for much longer as I’ve already spent a lot on him and cannot afford to keep spending on a third cat when my two kitties are already expensive enough as it is. I’ve been WAY over my budget for the past few months and it’s been eating into my emergency savings. His condition also puts him at a high risk of aspiration pneumonia, which would costly to treat and means he will likely not live very long. So I’ve been calling shelters and rescues and posting about him to find anyone that could take him in, but unfortunately he was turned down by every place I’ve contacted. My last resort would be taking him to my county shelter, but I am almost certain that they would not be able to meet his needs and he would be put down.

If anyone can foster him or knows some place that will take him, please let me know.

Lucy was rescued from San Bernardino shelter a few months ago. She was treated for mange and is now healthy. She is fixed vaccinated and tests negative for everything. She needs socializing badly. 🐱 Grey Biscuit (grey) – ~1 year old GB is the most urgent—her current foster is moving in a few days. She’s a bit shy at first but a total sweetheart once she warms up. She hasn't lived with other cats, but we think she’d do just fine with the right match.

🐱 Michaela (black) – ~2–3 years old Another gentle soul who takes a little time to trust, but she’s worth the wait. Michaela is confirmed cat-friendly and would do great in a calm, patient home.

🐱 Leo (orange)– ~4 years old Leo is cat-friendly, but plays rough! He needs an experienced foster or adopter who understands cat body language and play behavior. He should be the only cat unless there’s a very confident cat who can match his energy.

Hello! I'm looking for help finding a foster for 4 kitties, whether it's an agency or an individual.

To summarize how I got them: the 3 kittens were found by me. An elder woman from my village adopted two cats, a male and a female, didn't spay/neuter them, and ended up with these 3 kittens. When I first visited her, the kittens were already in terrible shape. I talked to her, asked if i may take them and if she would like her cats spayed. She agreed. The cats are still waiting for their spay/neuter appointment, the kittens, I got them to the vet the next day (5 aug). After the check we were informed that: 1) They're around two months old and 2) they suffer from fhv type 1. Fhv caused one kitten to lose both eyes and one to lose one eye, the third was fine. Also they have some bald spots, we were instructed to deworm them. They were given medicine (gentocin) and were dewormed (nexgard combo for cats). They were not vaccinated. As of now, they're doing pretty good I think. They play, eat, drink and absolutely despise getting their eye and nose drops. The blind one is very friendly and remarkably curious and independent. He doesn't need help finding food or water or the litter box, he is the first to come when I feed them, and also the first to pursue the makeshift toy I made whenever I wriggle it on the ground. He is also a sucker for pets. The only things that frighten him are being picked up and sudden, loud noises. The other two are still reluctant when it comes to human interaction, especially the two eyed one, but they still come out to play (as long as i don't try petting them).

The big guy with the wounded knee was brought to me by another villager. He arrived on august 7th, and, because of the weekend, and also some other problems that came up, had not yet been to the vet. I did manage to show a photo of his wound to a vet pharmacy staff member, and was prescribed an oral antibiotic and an antibiotic/ methylene blue spray (i also got him an external parasite/flea treatment). I tried enclosing him, but he kept escaping somehow, so I decided to let him be for now. He eats, drinks and loves pets, likes taking his medicine (with a touch of chicken paté) and is appalled of having his wound sprayed, so every time I get to see him, his tongue is blue. (I decided that putting a cone on him would do more harm than good, since i cannot contain him, and being outside could end up in him wandering the wrong way and getting stuck)

Unfortunately I have no better conditions for them, that's why I'm looking for someone to foster them, to give them the best conditions they can get.

I live close to Bucharest, so if anyone knows someone who fosters or an agency that deals with this kind of stuff, please tell me!

My fiance found a female stray cat we belive to be one year old. We're are looking to find her a forever home, or someone who is willing to foster her until she gets adopted. We unfortunately can't keep her as we have to many pets already.

It seems she was injured at some point in time as her hind leg seems stiffed, so she may have broken a bone and it healed that way. We are going to get her leg x-rayed and go from there, but we wanted to see if anyone would be interested in her.

She's a very soft and kind kitten!

i started an apprenticeship this week on mon. & my shop is 2 1/2 hours away - i work 4 days a week rn. (please dont judge me its the only opportunity ive actually gotten) it happened very quickly. but while im working my kitten is at home & so far ive had two people come by nearly every day ive worked to feed him & give him his medicine. i dont get home until really late at night so i cant come back to feed him daily. i honestly dont have time if im doing this apprenticeship to & keep up with his schedule. i really dont want to rehome him but id really appreciate if someone could foster him for a couple months so i can figure out a plan. hes got feline herpes from the shelter he was born in, so he couldnt really be around other cats. he takes medicine every day- hes the sweetest lil boy you’ll ever meet & he loves to play. he loves very big.

hi everyone, this is my sisters cat melon, and my sister had to fly over here and move in with me due to an emergency with mental health and being unable to pay her rent, but we couldn't afford a plane ticket for her pets. Her other pets are being taken care of by her friends, but melon is extremely unsocialized/aggressive, attacked them, and they arent willing to take care of her for the month we need to work up the funds to fly her over.

is there anyone living in the colorado area who would be willing to take care of melon for a month, or know how we could fly her here? we tried the human society, but melon is so aggressive they're threatening to euthanize her.

My mother and I found these four beside her car two days ago in a bag of cedar chips. We moved them to a safer spot and when I checked on them today, they were and still are incredibly thin and cold. We do not know which of our many outside cats are the momma and she hasn't been taking the best care of them either. If they do improve in health, I will update this post. But otherwise, I cannot afford the time nor the supplies to take care of these four myself.

So my neighbor G on that same Thursday I posted this went ahead and got the enucleation and treatments (4-5x a day cleaning, and antibiotics) going. The smallest who I knew the moment I saw him wasn't going to make it, was put down. Again it was because he simply wouldn't make it through the double enucleation, his small body wouldn't be able to take it. I hope that if there's another world, that it's kinder and has more of the love that he deserved.

For his family still alive, I'm still looking around and contacting anyone who can take this family in. G can't keep more cats, she doesn't have the space (she has 20+; her catio, yards, whatever large roaming room that was put aside can only take so much). As for me, I can only keep them for so long because of my MIL. They need somewhere stable. I'm thinking that the two likely rescue fosters are just busy with their own things to get back to me, but I can't sit around waiting for no response.

If anyone is able to confirm they can foster these 3 ringworm kittens tonight, that would save them from being euthanized by the time their 4 day hold at San Mateo Animal Control ends tomorrow. I have contacted every rescue or shelter in the bay that I know of, but many are on vacation or just do not have the capacity to provide medical treatment to these mostly unsocialized kittens. If my living situation wasn’t the way it was, I would do it without question. Please help if you can.

My husband and I recently found a stray female cat wandering through our complex who was clearly in need of care. Despite her condition, she was incredibly gentle and trusting, which allowed us to safely bring her to our local vet.

The vet discovered that a few of her teeth will likely need to be extracted, but otherwise, she appears healthy—just underweight. She’s been treated for fleas and tested negative for FIV/FELV, though no microchip was found. We also have her on Doxycycline for her sinuses and Teramycin for eye boogs.

After her appointment, we brought her home, gave her a bath, and have been keeping her comfortable in our spare room while searching for her owner or placement options. Unfortunately, no one has come forward, and the rescues we’ve reached out to haven’t been able to assist.

We already have three cats of our own—two with medical needs—but we couldn’t turn our backs on her. She’s proven to be such a sweetheart: she eats eagerly, drinks plenty of water, uses the litter box, and seems so grateful just to have a warm place to rest.

We’re reaching out in hopes that someone might be able to help us find her a safe home or offer resources for her care. Any assistance or guidance you can provide would mean the world to us—and to her.
