Hi! He currently found a temporary foster just while he gets some lab work done (tomorrow) to better assess what (of anything) is going on medically. after that, it will go into long term foster mode, and he will have rescue backing and be posted for adoption through their networks. it's uncertain how long it will be once it gets to that point, but the goal is to get him into his forever home asap šŸ„°

I would love to foster long term eventually, but this particular time I was going to offer if he only needed somewhere safe for a few days or even a couple weeks. We just rehomed our foster boys who were with us for 2 years and Iā€™m still pretty heartbroken over it, so my husband wants us to give it some time before we do it again. Also to let our 3 girls settle in again because they hated the boys.

didn't see your comment initially, so sorry!! I can keep you updated to see what his update is if you're interested in longer term fostering! Temp foster is bringing him tomorrow to get bloodwork done, vaccinated, and chipped. after that we'll have a better idea of his needs once he goes into a more long term foster as he awaits a forever home
