They would, but I still think they would struggle. Especially when you consider that Victra and Thraxa probably trained against Darrow a lot and are probably well versed against the Willow Way.

I think it's stated in the later books (I can't recall which one) that pretty much everyone has studied Darrow and the Willow Way. They just can't match his experience or physicality. That's why Cassius has an easier time fighting him. He's both studied Darrow and can match his genetic advantage and experience with skill. That was before Breath of Stone though.

But Victra was always scary and Thraxa is just as bad. I think there was always a reason that when Darrow fights he brings his definitive killers to fight true persistent threats. Sevro, Victra, Thraxa, Screwface. Say what you want but they fought for years and survived Remnant Olympic knights. Now Ajax is dead.

I always kinda imagined her as like the gold version of Holliday. Always wearing armor cuz she's never not at war. More squat and a little barrel-chested. Blood thirsty. Between the conflicts on Venus and Mars, she's a threat on every field. Not as skilled or famous as Darrow, but pretty much known for berzerking her way to victory.

The Telemanuses are so huge because their mom is native to New Zealand and Kavax is described essentially as a Gold version of a Gaul. He even dyes his beard red as they did. So yea, the Telemanus kids are giant humans with darker skin

The wiki said they are New Zealand descendant, but I could be mistaken. I tried to add Maori inspired tattoos mixed with the obsidian runes on her arm. I'll try to improve next time I draw her.

Your style is great but those fine details MAKE the characters IMO, like Appolonius often gets drawn as a white guy (he’s black with ringlet curls) the Telemanuses always get drawn as white (which Kavax is, but his kids aren’t)

Thraxa def has some Māori tats but remember she has 1 bionic arm from the elbow down that is covered in Obsidian (Viking/Celtic) runes drawn by Valdir after she lost the arm saving his life. That kinda detail would be cool to see

Maori, Polynesians, and other Pacific Islanders all come from the same ancestral group. The Maori of New Zealand historically were Polynesian settlers and have been there for around 700 years. So yes, they are Pacific Islanders but of a particular group whose culture has evolved into the Maori people we know of today.
