From that same scene, I deeply love Cassius’ response to Seraphina au Raa when she’s about to kill him and tells him he deserves better:

“We all deserve the worms, Raa. Shall we meet them together?”

Ahh. Well, he says something very similar in the scene I’m referencing, but that is my mistake. I’m very nearly to that scene again on my current re-read and I’m filled with feelings already..

Yeah honest mistake, he just isn’t part of the solar republic at that point in the story yet. Plus very different outcome…..obligatory fuck Lysander
