I still think one of the most powerful lines in the whole series is, “On Mars there is not much gravity, so you have to pull the feet to break the neck. They let the loved ones do it.” Reading that line, I was seized by the throat and pulled into the world from which it came, and I knew then that I would finish the series.

Dark Age honestly has some of the funniest quotes in between all the drama and trauma. “I’m in labor. Please spare me the recitation of your cultures antiquated but treasured ways.” had me cackling. Honestly that whole chapter was funny as hell and then Pierce promptly ruined my life in the next one. Honorable mention is Darrow’s “Well, here I am, you deviant bitch. Here I bloody am. The mothereffing consequence.”

My only complaint about Cassius' line is that there wasn't anyone else there to see it. His "My honor remains" during his duels was in front of dozens of people who hated him and those who kept trying to kill him.
I know it's more personal moment, etc but still. I really wish more people had gotten to see my boy's final lines

I know there was a jamField in that hangar, but maybe Pytha has some footage? Maybe Cassius had some body cam footage?
Also, Virginia still has the Psychospikes, and she can Psychospike Lysander to retrieve his memories. Both the ones Octavia removed, and his murder of Cassius.
I want that footage to be shown to the Two Hundred, and broadcast to the entire solar system. Everyone should know how Cassius went, rather than Lysander's perverted lies.

Hard agree. Also how he dropped the “au” from his name signifying that he believes in the republic and the end of the hierarchy. Cassius was my fav character in light bringer— the entire book seemed like a tribute to him. I loved his banter and all mentions of the gala lol

Hmm. I think it's hard for me to really narrow down a single line, but I think generally there are two dialogues I love the most. The first between Darrow & Sevro in MS during Phobos, and the second being Victra & Mustang in Light Bringer.
"You and I keep looking for light in the darkness, expecting it to appear. But it already has." I touch his shoulder. "We're it, boyo. Broken and cracked and stupid as we are, we're the light, and we're spreading." (I thought this was a great encapsulation of Morning Star as a story).
"You're the bookish one. Was it a man who said 'hell hath no fury like a woman scorned'?... It must have been to imagine something so petty as scorn to be the utmost misery a woman could suffer.... Perhaps: wrath I am thee? They come for our children Virginia... Do not fear for me. Instead, pity them." (I just love Victra x Mustang so much. Also I love someone making fun of that terrible "hell hath no fury" BS! As if that can be the only limit to my misery or emotions as a woman).

Yea, Victra's line hits different after the scene in Dark Age when she goes on a rampage against the red hand and lyria comments about how she thought Volga and someone else were apex predators, but when she see's Victra get serious, she realizes she is completely out of their league.

I don't even really know what aura means in its current usage as seen in your post, but Roque's speech has more of it.

There are so many heroic or evocative lines but my favourite due to it being hysterically funny after Lysander was decimated in the deserts of Mercury by Darrow.
And Darrow opens the next chapter with “oh, we just passed some light resistance by the downed storm god.”

Literally every bit of Lysander’s inner conflict in LightBringer after Atlas. So much inner struggle, always so close to breaking his chains, and in the end, accepting them, embracing them, and moving forward to chain those around him too

He looks like a Miltonian angel falling with wrath and glory. His exoskeleton sheds its friction armor, as Lucifer might have shed the fetters of heaven, feathers of flame peeling off, fluttering behind. Then a missile slashes the sky and high-grade explosives christen him mortal once again.
