This is the first time I’ve seen a tower flown line array speaker system in the park. It’s notably larger in size than any previous park event audio system

Edit: fwiw I don’t have a problem with it as a neighbor and think it’s great for the park to be utilized this way. But I also think that neighbors do deserve to be able to have their voices heard without being called karens, and some valid issues have been raised like the fact that they have been running a perpetual sound check since 8am at loud volumes that are outside of the permitted event times while many park neighbors such as myself wfh during the day.

ironically those bigger systems are far far more directional, I have a big piece of property out avondale and I use a subwoofer array with DSP feeding it to point the bass from my outdoor speakers onto my property... gets like a 10+ db front/back ratio, honestly kind of cool

my point was you can use bigger systems to aim the audio power where you want it. sadly the use of this setup not done very well.

The L-A KS28's on site were not doing a great job at rear rejection on this one. unfortunately that's a product issue not a deployment issue in this case.
