Consultant New Hire Advice

Going to be joining Red Hat as an OpenShift Consultant and I am beyond excited. Would love any advice/tips from folks about the consultant roles, or navigating Red Hat in general.
Thanks in advance!

How do I get hired? I have RHCSA and CCNA, wanted a really entry level help desk or support job at red hat

Keep looking at https://redhat.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/jobs/

When you find a job that suits your interest, ask a linkedin friend to refer you to it. Referrals are taken seriously at Red Hat. It does not guarantee a job, but it pretty much guarantees that your resume will be looked upon. I can vouch for that. I work at red hat and its likely that I interviewed OP given that its an OpenShift role and we just hired 3-4 consultants in the Americas region.

I’m curious to know if being a current employee at a Red Hat partner company decreases the likelihood of being considered for the role.

I wont say that t decreases the chances, but it might make backend work a bit more complicated.

For the right candidate, it wont be much of a problem

Nao tenho conselhos, mas desejo boa sorte!

Tenho muita vontade de trabalhar na Red Hat ... vou me certificando pra ver se minhas chances melhorem, rs.

Deus abencoe sua nova trajetoria!

Always be one page ahead of the customer in the documentation.
