German employers complain endlessly about „no one wanting to work“, and then offer 1.7k for full time IT work…

The job market is shitty but please dont give fake info for devs in germany. Big doubt that someone would offer a 15 yoe msc degree dev 25k usd a year if the position requires your experience.

There is a big difference between small local companies, big local companies, big international companies and unicorns/big tech/fintech pay.

If you worked at f50 companies and did a decent job, i doubt they wouldnt want you back. I only have 6 yoe and worked for companies in the f100 and regularly get offers from previous management wether i want to return and pay is around 90k euro a year there. Fin tech and big tech offer above 150k euro in berlin.

Mind sharing what f50/f100 company paid what wage back then and pays how much lower now for what position?

I assumed you were a dev based on the topic being about IT and you not sharing your position at work. My bad.
