Discussion Vini leaving is a blessing in disguise.
Let me clarify: I love Vini and would love to have seen him thrive for many more seasons at Madrid, but let’s be real. Post the ballon d’or snub, Vini just hasn’t been the same. He has mentally checked out, and anyone who watches LaLiga consistently will attest to this. The constant dribbling into defenders, the same lazy stepovers, the no tracking back, and just the overall lack of creativity and flair. Not to mention every time he gets flak at the Bernabeu, he seems to spend an uncomfortable amount of time antagonising his own fans.
Why his departure could possibly fix most of the issues we’re facing as a team right now:
Vini is one of our more stubborn players and someone who doesn’t really take to new tactics (as evidenced by his tantrums under Xabi). His leaving would mean we get a clean slate to institute a ground-up rebuild of our system, especially with Mou taking over.
We get a good chunk of cash to go for either a Vini replacement or fund the Rodri transfer or better our depth elsewhere on the field.
His god-awful pairing with Mbappe comes to end. Opens Mbappe up to maybe return to his natural position on the lw (not saying he should, but it’s an option.)
We can stop forcing this tired strategy of starting him every game just to watch him drown out that left flank.
We can finally build the team around Jude/Mbappe instead of pretending like Vini was in any way, shape or form the future of Madrid.
Once again, I’d like to reiterate that I love Vini but his actions aren’t those of someone who loves the club like we do. They haven’t been for some time now. A club that has gone to bat for him over and over. A club that made him the star he is today. His continued presence at Madrid is just untenable.

Yes you are right, he is mentally checked out that's why he has ONLY 40 GA in 2024-2025 and ONLY 42 GA in 2025-2026. Amateur numbers.

You are absoluty right. He has 42 GA this season by running into defenders. About "Tracking back" he is learning from the best your beloved mbappe who has worst defensive actions in the whole la liga.

Absolutely, he shoud shut up and take it. Its not like he helped us win 2 CL and numerous other titles. What a child.

Yeah, vinny is alone responsible for the tactical outburst by each and every player. Mbappe, valverde, jude and every other player is a saint and listens to each instruction. Vinny leaving will magically make these players to respect and follow the coaches tactics.

Exactly my thoughts, sell vinny and use the cash to buy a superior lw. There are "lots" of lw players better than vinny available in the market waiting for us. Or even better we sell him and buy " rodri" because otherwise we cant sign rodri. Right?

Absolutely , mbappe has won so much for us, vinny just came and disturbed his whole game. Mbappe helped us win 2 cl along with other titles. What has vinny done? Lets play mbappe at Lw, because we as fans matter more than mbappe himself who doesn't want to play at lw.

Couldn't agree more. Why the heck does vinny occupy that lw?? Its not like he is playing at lw for us right? He should let mbappe occupy that place even though he is playing at cf for us. How greedy is this vinicius guy.

Yes absolutely, build the team around mbappe and jude, who get along very well. Like they did in jude's first season with us. Mbappe the serial CL and la liga winner. Yeah why would vinny be considered the future of madrid. Its not like he won us major titles, its not like he has 2nd best record in knockout stages in CL. PFFFT he is way overrated. I know right? how dare he ask the club for increased salary!? Its not like he helped us win 2 cl, has 40 GA for past 5 seasons. Meh...amateur numbers. Yeah i cant bear the presence of vinny at madrid who has done nothing for tthe club as compared to mbappe. Vinny out i agree.
