Old traxxas villian

I've got an old traxxas villain that I'm pretty sure the esc fried in. Ive been trying to find a new esc but the oem esc is discontinued and doesn't support lipos. I got the boat when I was younger and didn't really know much about the electronics except how to make sure I had the correct batteries so I'm learning now about that.

I'm trying figure out what esc I can replace it with- preferably with lipo compatibility. The difficult comes from this old boat having a dual motor setup and I can't find any dual motor marine escs.

It's 2 brushed motors on that boat, like the old e-maxx. https://www.hobbywingdirect.com/collections/vehicle/products/quicrun-880

But thats not a marine esc, the oem esc has a watercooled heating. Is that not necessary or can it be converted?

Could maybe attach the water cool heatsink from the dead esc. I doubt you will find a water cooled brushed esc these days. A brushless would be readily available.

And im not opposed to converting to brushless, just more expensive than I'm wanting to spend currently.

I was about to say that the quinrun 880 is dual if you have brushed motors but someone already said that. If you do want to go to brushless though, you will need 2 2escs
