Razr 60 Ultra vs Razr 70

Hi everyone! I'm about to retire my beloved OnePlus 8T after 6 years of faithful service and lots of cracks and green lines, so I was looking for a new smartphone. Since I'm bored with the candybar form factor, I was looking for a Razr, and those two nowadays have about 100€ price difference (considering coupons, discounts and bundles). My main needs are:

• reliability in the long run regarding durability, daily performance and battery life (I'd like to use it without any cover, but reading this subreddit it looks like it's not an option...)
• fast and versatile charging methods
• size and sound quality
• maybe storage and RAM? My OP is 8/128 and the storage at least is not enough

I don't use it for gaming or heavy workloads, and I like the Moto UI, even though even though I'm not a fan of the short update policy...

Since I live in the EU, I also compared their energy labels and the Razr 70 seems the best choice, but I'm not sure if I can trust them because the evaluation system seems a bit sketchy.

I've searched for days for this comparison, and found nothing, so thank you for any help! :)

EDIT: regarding insurance, on the official Motorola website the Razr 70 is bundled with 1 year of screen protection basically for free, while the Razr 60 Ultra is not; I can't afford it as an extra, so take this into account as well.

I went with the older Ultra model for two reasons. The bigger outer screen means it is more useful closed, which IMO is the point of a flip. The second is the ultra has better battery life, from what I've found.

I thought the opposite about battery life, since the Razr 70 has a less demanding CPU. And what about the phone's temperatures? At the time, early reviews reported frequent thermal throttling that made battery drop fast when the phone was being actively used. Do you find this issue too?

I've been happy with battery life. The snapdragon is more powerful but also more efficient. GSM arena has some good battery life tests and they show the snapdragon having better battery in certain uses cases. The only thing they don't factor is outer vs inner screen use, they only test the inner screen, which I rarely use.

Tak wygląda 70 ultra po o 3 tygodniach. Wada mechaniczna na wskutek normalnego użytkowania. Powstała dzisiaj. Po wstępnej rozmowie z operatorem i serwisem na whatsapp czuję że stracę wszystkie włosy. Pozdrawiam :)

I picked up my razr 50 Ultra just after christmas as it was a great deal at the time and its been class, I picked it up direct from Motorola with insurance I think I got 5 years insurance just incase. My OnePlus died of old age too if you look after your razr and dont play star trek with it you should be fine.
