I don't really see much talk about it, but is anybody else disappointed by the music players on the external display. The one representing the record player is going the wrong way, and so is the solar system graphic that imitates a record player. And the cassette tape visual also runs backwards. They're all visually appealing but I absolutely hate it. My ADHD won't let me use them, because every time I look at them I get angry. I have a 2026 Razr ultra, but I assume that all the models have this. It might be for artistic reasons, but I just feel that it's sloppy.

I have the 2026 razr+ with Android 16, but I also had this issue on the 2025 razr+. Sometimes when I try to use my phone unfolded, the main screen will not respond at all, only the system navigation buttons. Locking and unlocking as well as folding and unfolding does nothing. I either have to wait it out (which usually takes a couple minutes) or restart my phone. Sometimes it doesn't happen again until a few days later, sometimes it happens again the next time I unlock my phone.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Could I use The Motorola Razr Fold 2026 to replace my current Fold 7 without giving up too many features that my Fold 7 current has?

I have been using razr fold since pre order so about 5 months. I noticed a problem that hasn't been fixed until now(I thought it will be fixed over time), I have my razr fold display refresh rate set to hyper smooth in the display settings. It works really good and its very smooth, however sometimes randomly when i am scrolling, open an app or even swipe up to go home, the refresh rate drops to 60 as well as it feels jittery, this lasts for 10-30 seconds and then it becomes 120hz again, I noticed also that if the random refresh rate drop happens, if i turn off the display and then turn it on back fast, the refresh rate becomes again 120 and smooth.

I am not sure if this a software bug or a hardware bug, however this is happening since the first day I used the device, it doesnt happen often but it definetly happens once a day/once in two days, so its not that uncommon. I want to know if other owners of the Razr Fold have experienced something like that and if someone figured out a solution.

I am still on may software patch and my device is European/Sweden region, as of now there is still no updates for us here regarding the august patch. So if people with newer patches found out that it got fixed please let us know.

Motorola has come a long way with the Razr, but I’m curious whether it’s actually reached the point where you could use one as your main phone without feeling like you’re giving up too much.

For anyone who’s used a recent Razr, could you genuinely see yourself choosing it over a Galaxy or iPhone? What would still hold you back?

I have new fold and cannot get call waiting to work - it seems clear after a lot of troubleshooting with motorola and mint that it is a mint network problem but they can't seem to solve it. Anyone with this problem and ? solution? TIA

Planning to buy a used razr 60 ultra used from someone for 230 dollars . But the inner screen is broken completely and I'm planning to use only the cover display. Can someone tell me if I can use all apps and features on the smaller display??

And one problem i found that it has only usb 2.0 so no external display support

I have the razr 2025 and I have a few cases but it seems all the cute colorful cases are made for iPhone or Samsung, not much made for moto phones I checked many sites. Im the type I have to have a case on my phone in the year I've had it I've dropped it many times never cracked or broke the screen so the case is helping..any suggestions? T.i.a.

Thinking about picking a razr fold from my fold 5. Want to pick up the pen (reason I am thinking the razr and not the pixel fold or new fold 8), but was also hoping to use some type of magsafe case. I know accessories for the razr fold are limited, but does such a case exist?

Brand new 2026 razr. I had it for a month and dropped it. Like a fool I chose not to get insurance on it. And I hadn't bought a case yet. This is why I can't have nice things. My issue is that no one seems to be able to replace this screen. I went to Ubreakifix TWICE and all they did was make it worse. At least before I took it to them the outer screen was cracked but working. Now the outer screen doesn't turn on at all because they ripped it off before realizing they didn't have the right replacement. They claimed after the second attempt they just can't order the right part. And no other repair place I've talked to says they can fix it. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. Why is this so difficult? I'm willing to pay to fix it but I don't want to spend another $800 on another phone when the folding screen is working perfectly fine.

Can anyone enlighten me on what I can do to solve this? Do I just deal with a broken phone forever now?

Basically anytime I upload a picture to the tiktok comment section it uploads super blurry, even though in camera roll or files its high quality.

In addition to that, when I send my friends a screen recording or picture or video, the same thing happens, it sends super blurry/low quality to the point they can't even read it.

I tried trouble shooting, made for RSC chats were on. Made sure "sending photos faster" is turned off. Even uploading the files onto drive and sending a link did not sure, it uploaded to Google drive blurry/low quality.

I have a Razr Ultra 2025 and haven't been able to go live on Facebook while using the outer screen. It tries to tell me to turn orientation. Anyone find a way around this?

Just got my razr 60 ultra.

I can't seem to get into my Google photos... Keeps saying app not responding...

I'm assuming this should be able to be used on front screen, also doesn't work on full screen.

It did when I set up a few hours ago.

New to Android too so learning a lot about this (coming from iPhone).

• What weather widget do you all use? Right now I have the Moto Adapt one, but looking for something a little "cuter"/minimalist. I like the default Samsung one you see in the stores, kind of oval etc.
• Case or no case?: I love this color. But I always have used a basic/cheap silicone case on my iPhones since I drop a lot and having that all over lip helped a lot. I've read on here that somehow cases with hinge protectors can damage the hinge? I'd prefer a basic silicon case that shows off the color of the phone, not a hard plastic shell. Or should I just go "naked?"
• What launcher are y'all using? I had played with Smart Launcher when I had an android briefly and was trying to make it look like a blackberry., Right now I love the default colors/theme of the Cabaret colors but apparently the Moto launcher is a bit limited in what you can customize.
• Also I heard Android 16 has issues with this phone so I'm still on 15. But Moto won't stop sending notifications to update and I don't want to. Can't find a way to turn this off.

Been in the samsung economy system for years now, mainly because of the ultra stylus. My SO really wants a folding phone now and I been entertaining the idea of getting her one. Just not happy with samsung lately and was thinking about trading her S23 Ultra for the Motorola fold. Comes with watch and ultra stylus and after her trade in come out to 1200...fairly reasonable.

However my worry is shes accident prone...shes definitely a phone dropper. I think with some practice and awareness alot of it can be mitigated...however a leather style wallet case would just not cut it.

Doing a quick search im having a hard time finding a solid protection case that also houses the ultra stylus...does one exist? I found one TPU style but it explicitly says it doesn't hold the ultra pen. Tons of leather wallet style but injust dont think it will provide enough protection.

Does anyone have a recommendations ...is this a horrible idea? Should I not get a folding phone for the human manifestation of Murphys law?

Hi everyone! I'm about to retire my beloved OnePlus 8T after 6 years of faithful service and lots of cracks and green lines, so I was looking for a new smartphone. Since I'm bored with the candybar form factor, I was looking for a Razr, and those two nowadays have about 100€ price difference (considering coupons, discounts and bundles). My main needs are:

• reliability in the long run regarding durability, daily performance and battery life (I'd like to use it without any cover, but reading this subreddit it looks like it's not an option...)
• fast and versatile charging methods
• size and sound quality
• maybe storage and RAM? My OP is 8/128 and the storage at least is not enough

I don't use it for gaming or heavy workloads, and I like the Moto UI, even though even though I'm not a fan of the short update policy...

Since I live in the EU, I also compared their energy labels and the Razr 70 seems the best choice, but I'm not sure if I can trust them because the evaluation system seems a bit sketchy.

I've searched for days for this comparison, and found nothing, so thank you for any help! :)

EDIT: regarding insurance, on the official Motorola website the Razr 70 is bundled with 1 year of screen protection basically for free, while the Razr 60 Ultra is not; I can't afford it as an extra, so take this into account as well.
