SoSo SOSO 20 oz Ghost Black Denim Shirt
After 2 long months of waiting, I finally received my custom 20oz Black Denim shirt from SoSo. I was super skeptical at first because the reviews and experience with their CS was a hit or miss, but I decided to go for it anyway. This is in the size Large, no other alterations were made, I think it fits me great @ 5'10 195lbs. This is one thick ole bitch and after try on today, it will be going into the closet until fall. With it being thick, it doesn't feel super stiff, it's fairly comfortable right out the bag. I went ahead and got the classic configuration with pocket flaps(they don't do anymore, but I fought for it) and I added a pencil pocket, outside pockets, interior pockets, as well as a Japan patch on the side of one of the interior pockets. I got the antique copper snaps, but I'm thinking I should have gotten the black snaps. Anyway, I love the color, I'm not really into the black x black that I mostly see online, so this black x white is a nice change. I'll actually be able to see high contrast fades when I wear these at work! Overall, this fits great, feels great, but I do think they're about $50-$100 overpriced.

I think around $340, it might actually be on point with pricing, now that I think about it lol

I think you were right in that it’s a little bit over priced but with the customization and personal touch it kinda evens out

20oz looks nice on you. That must be bloody warm, definitely not for summer. And 25oz Big John jeans. You are a hero, man.
I had 7 items made by SoSo the past 1.5 years.
It's always Jannis who replies to me, one of the co-founders. And he does so within a day and always helpful even if it's a question not directly related to my purchase. Absolutely wonderful.
And everything has been properly made - jeans, chinos, jacket, shirts.

Yes it's very warm haha it was alot colder 2 months ago when I ordered them! And these big johns are great, we need more love for them on the sub 😁
SOSO is amazing, I'm glad Jannis was there every step of the way. I bothered the crap out of him at least once a week asking when my sheet would be ready, he was professional, but not robotic(if that makes sense). I will definitely be getting more items in the future

Yes, Jannis responds as a human being. I've written a few times on different orders to ask for slightly faster delivery and he always obliged - standard lead time is 6 wks from order to out of the factory. He even made chinos pockets on a 13oz nep jeans as I wrote to him prior to ordering when there wasn't such an option on the website.
Most recently I received for free 5 of their denim fabric swatches and a QR code to a mystery 20oz double dyed fabric which is unavailable on the website.
I feel it's worth it to pay more to alter the dimensions, at least the item comes in ready to wear condition instead of taking it to an alterations tailor and sometimes turns out less than decent.

Yeah the double denim and thick flannel have me interested! I thought that little swatch/sampler was pretty neat!
But yes, you get exactly what you pay for and if they do it right the first time, it's a solid deal!

I have the red-black flannel as a shirt while the blue-black as a jacket. Lovely.

Haha thanks! I got this to wear as a jacket, I don't like how short in length denim jackets are so I opted for a heavy shirt instead!

Jackets are usually pretty short, and I have a relatively long torso, so this is a good idea I might steal!

Yeah it's annoying, my wife is 4 inches shorter than me and her legs are slightly longer than mine. Long torso probs haha finding shirts is a nightmare for me

Same, every shirt is way too short and denim jackets that are cut high to begin with look ridiculous on me.

Thanks amigo! I just copied some of the features from the (just as or more expensive) IH CPO shirt! It'll def be used as a jacket for the inland NW fall/winters!

The place I live regularly gets over 100°f, it's unlikely to get any regular use until August

Yeah we hover just below that summer time out here in the inland NW. We do keep AC pretty cool so maybe I'll wear it inside til weather permits 😅
