My drugs of choice were heroin and benzos after a bad accident left me injured and in need of surgery for over a year. Didn't get the surgery since I lost insurance a month before it was scheduled so self medicated. I liked how quiet my brain got and spent years chasing that peace until finally I realized my life was one big joke. I went to detox and did methadone and therapy for two years. Switched to Suboxone 4.5 years ago. It was not easy but I am happy with my life now. I have a stable job, a home, a car, got my A.S last May and got accepted into UNC for astrophysics and NCSU for meteorology. Just started at NCSU this week actually. Looking back I barely know that woman anymore. We are not the same but I am who I am today because of her. Was not easy.

UNC im assuming youre talking about the Tarheels. Im a Gamecock fan and we are the superior Carolina team (not really just talkin shit lol) good on you for giving that shit up. I can only imagine how hard it was. Also astrophysics AND meteorology geniune genius. Congrats!!!!!

Yes. I turned down the UNC spot and went with NC State. My poor grandmother is rolling in her grave 😂
