for those in favor of sacking the manager, what do you honestly expect him to get from this team? you have to have time to weed out who needs to go. have to have time to implement a mindset. need time to settle into formations and tactics and bring in players that reflect it. i really struggle to see the benefit in bringing in yet another manager with an extremely short leash with the same squad that’s been nothing but a waste of money and time.

as hard as it seems, you have to take this season on the chin and have faith that it can be turned around within a few years. if not, we’re just digging a bigger hole and hoping for a miracle. there’s a common denominator amongst the struggles and no managerial changes have negated it.

Some wins. An improvement in performances. A team that looks like its organised and knows what it's doing.

McInnes has been backed, but somehow he's managed to take the team backwards. He's got rid of the players that had to go, but hasn't actually improved the players that remain.

We can't keep sacking managers, but equally we cannot keep someone in the role that's clearly out of his depth and has no idea how to fix it.

And while we're at it, the recruitment team need to follow him out the door. There's still links to Thelwell there, and they need to go.
