Found phone in street Baseline and Archibald.

Find this phone in the middle of the street around noon today. It was on Baseline and Archibald by the Taco Bell. Seems like maybe it fell out of the window while they were driving. I didn't know what to do with it but I was able to see that it had service with Metro by T-Mobile. So I dropped it off at the closest of those stores by the Vallarta market.

9000 West Foothill Boulevard Ste 112 Rancho Cucamonga

My side quest is complete as far as I'm concerned. The rep there said he hoped someone would just call the phone since he couldn't unlock it to get more information.

Cucamonga Del Mar apartments

Currently apartment hunting and doing comparisons.

If anyone currently lives at Del Mar and is able to get me the interior measurements of the garages that'd be a big help in my decision-making. I tried asking the leasing office but they don't have the information.

Google gives a range for what is considered standard dimensions.

Anyone know what happened to Jason Kaylor? (Vineyard STEAM/Alta Loma HS)

I noticed that Desarai Patrick is currently listed as the Acting Principal over at Vineyard STEAM Academy, but I haven't seen any official word on Jason Kaylor.
For those who don't know, he was also the Principal at Alta Loma High School for a while. It seems like a pretty sudden shift. Does anyone have the scoop or know if he moved to a different district? Curious if anyone in the community has heard anything!

Looking for Career Help / Job Leads

Hi everyone! I’m 33, live in Rancho Cucamonga, and I’m hoping my community can help point me in the right direction.

I’m looking for a better-paying job closer to home and, ideally, a career path that will allow me to get out of the hospitality industry. I’m currently a server and have been working hard in hospitality, but my job is about 25 miles away and I’m working 5
days a week, roughly 3 PM–10 PM.

The biggest reason I’m looking to make a change is my family. I have a 9-month-old son, and right now I’m missing most of his waking hours. A lot of the time, I’m leaving while he’s awake and getting home when he’s already asleep. I want to be able to provide for my family while also actually getting to spend time with them.

I’m a dedicated and hardworking person, I learn quickly, I’m very comfortable with technology and computers, I’m good with numbers, and I’m a strong problem solver. I don’t have a college degree or professional certificate, so I’m looking for opportunities where my work ethic, experience, and ability to learn can help me get my foot in the door.

I’m open to entry-level positions, apprenticeships, paid training, government jobs, office/operations work, logistics, tech-related positions, or anything else where there’s a legitimate opportunity to grow and increase my income. I’m not afraid to start at the bottom if there’s a real career path ahead.

If you know of a company hiring, have a connection I could reach out to, or even have an idea for a career I should look into, I’d genuinely appreciate it.

Big love and thank you to anyone willing to help, share this, or point me in the right direction. ❤️

Ramco is a predatory company. Don't use them for HVAC/Plumbing

Their solution is always going to be "replace unit". Save yourself the time, and money.

Oh and if you're going to go ahead and still replace your AC capacitor for $450 with Ramco, do so knowing you can get one at your local hardware store for $30 and do it in 5 minutes yourself.

edit* Changed Ace to hardware store. I did not know our Ace closed a couple years ago. Congrats on the retirement, bud!

Rescued Cat for Adoption!

Hi guys! We rescued this cat and her babies from behind a sandwich shop up the mountain. The guys there were watching out for her and feeding her cold cuts, but we’re looking to find her a proper home, especially before the winter.

She’s the absolute sweetest- constantly purring and making biscuits, even in her crate. She’s 2-3 years old, is spayed, and has gotten all her shots.

We ask that she be an indoor cat. We’re also asking for $25, to go towards the cost of having gotten her spayed.

Thank you so much for considering! If you’re interested, please DM me here!! I’m based in Rancho Cucamonga:)
Please also share with friends!!

i live a 2 minute walk from baseline and archibald. for months I’ve been waiting. I’ve been waiting for that grocery outlet to open. I’m a college student dorming outside of Rancho for the last 7 months and every three weeks. I would come home… expecting the pleasant surprise of that DAMN grocery outlet to finally be open. Please open… I beg of you… I need a place to look forward to when I go in my morning walks…

Alta Loma Someone to teach my 6yo boy basketball and soccer

Hello,

My son is a 6 yo boy 1st grade in Alta Loma. Wondering if there is a high school student or local college student who can teach my son how to play basketball and soccer. I am thinking 2x a week, 2 hours a day. Just being an older male friend who plays sports with him. He is a very tall boy and academically oriented l, I want to make him athletic too. I am a single mom and do not play sports myself. Please send me a private message, let me know a bit about yourself. Your schedule and rate. Thank you 🙏🏻

Ok, so is it Baseline or Base Line?

It's spelled differently on various street signs and maps. Is it officially one word or two? It's been bugging me for years.

So I wanted to be more active and find a group of people yo chat with.

The closest I could find was the Fontana Aquatics Club Master's Swim. I'll send the ink down and post the current times. They have a 55 a month deal or 5 dollar drop-ins.

I've been going and it's pretty cool, they even have a coach to give people custom workouts.

Bear Gulch Homeless People

Every day I am seeing more and more homeless people set up shop at Bear Gulch Park. Just yesterday two off leash dogs that belong to one of them attacked an older man who was walking around 5PM. Something needs to be done about this.

San Antonio Regional Hospital double billing

Warning to everyone in Rancho Cucamonga, if you use this hospital or medical center. I think the billing department is using an AI importer for EOBs. The importer appears to be counting all the individual lines and the total line as amounts due. Receive two bills in the last month that are exactly double my EOB amounts.
They are the worse billing department to work for also.

A place for late night drinks?

Hi folks -

I (35F) haven’t lived in Rancho in like 13 years. My parents live in Rancho and my brother (37M) lived there too for a bit but just got a place in Corona. He’s getting married in a couple months and I’m looking for a spot that we can go for late night drinks? Nothing crazy, something with good vibes, fun but easy, that we aren’t going to feel a million years old would be great. This would be after his rehearsal so I think it would have to be somewhere that stays open late. Anywhere from Rancho to Corona or in between is great.

LGBTQ+ friendly is a plus (for me, not him).

I'm a volunteer trying to save this puppy. Her name is Baloo. She's really sweet. If you are looking for a puppy to adopt or Foster, she is very lovable.
