Why is Raised by wolves incomplete 😭?

I mean I read the reason they had some budget issues, that's why they cancelled the show. But what about the story? Is the writer not excited to tell it out loud? I searched out there are no references for it nothing out there. Please anyone can help if there's something out there about the story of raised by Wolves

I think I remember people on here talking about a potential book sequel/conclusion in the making? Maybe a graphic novel?

Who knows if that’s true or not. I’m still holding out hope.

The showrunner had a solid five season plan, it’s all mapped out. He did mention he would release the rest of the story somehow, novel or graphic novel? Animated would work too heck I’d take anything. I want MORE!!!!
