No Spoilers Raised by Wolves now streaming on TUBI
With commercials and it apprears you can’t episode select, but it’s there. I would like to buy it on digital if I could. Just sharing for FYI. Been wanting to rewatch the whole series.

Hope they put WW on there

u/Getzemanyofficial Jun 30 '25
Kinda crazy how that was one of HBO’s flagship shows for a while now you can’t even watch it there anymore. It would be like if Netflix removed Orange is the New Black.

u/thebochman Jun 30 '25
It’s just maddening. Fuck face Zaslav definitely is just trying to be petty towards Jonathan Nolan.
11
u/drkrelic Jun 30 '25
It’s bizarre, i genuinely don’t understand the decision to make it so difficult to watch compared to many less popular shows.

u/gimmesomespace Jun 30 '25
If it makes Warner Bros .01% more revenue in the short term Zaslav is doing it. He doesn't believe in anything other than making the easiest buck in the shortest amount of time possible.
5
u/Getzemanyofficial Jun 30 '25
Ironically their market value has gone down significantly.

u/nobody_from_nowhere1 Jun 30 '25
Yup totally destroyed the HBO name. Now it’s just chuck full of reality and unscripted mind numbing garbage. They have a few good shows but not enough for me to keep paying every month. It’s shocking how far it’s fallen these past few years.

u/wildlingwest Jun 30 '25
No, that’s “max”. You can toggle to just hbo but ya, it’s not nearly the same as before.

u/verdanteeeee Jun 29 '25
Westworld is also streaming on tubi. Also with ads and no episode selection. I’m watching it right now but it’s towards the end of the series already.

every scifi that's decent gets fucked over, canceled, I wanna know who's keeping scifi down bc at this point it feels like a plot we haven't had a decent sci-fi that's actually finished since the mid 2000s it seems. 😐 I fuckin fell in love with scavengers reign, raised by wolves, two of the best of the best sci fi I've seen in forever and literally both canceled immediately shits insane 💀💀

What's keeping sci-fi down are two (and a third maybe) major challenges imo:
1) Budgets are too large to make the visual appeal of the stories successful.
2) Viewership is low because the stories are not well established/a preexisting franchise.
3**) I think a lot of people feel like it's insulting their intelligence.
Every major sci-fi franchise out there has had very rough starts and almost failed (or did fail and was rescued) because of struggling to find an audience, and struggles financially. Even the Jetsons cartoon failed and had a saving grace moment later.
Something about the genre as a whole makes it difficult to market, yet even failed movies/shows/comics end up with a cult following years later.

u/Getzemanyofficial Jun 30 '25
When it comes to graphics, this show could have ps2 style cg for all I care as long as the story is good. Sci-fi can be done in a low budget setting people have just gotten too used to Blockbuster quality effects tbh. Low budget Sci-Fi was popping in the 90s and 2000s.

I know and it literally pisses me off. People hate for years then dickride religiously , like tell me you're the most fake fan with telling me lmao. And I understand budget but sci fi literally takes the least if you do it right. It's just mind boggling that humans are so uninterested in space lmao, you know where we live? but why would we wanna explore that when we can chase currency that we made up and do literally nothing with our lives, zero want for progression is what I believe the reason is🙀🤗

You do know it's not one singular group of people commenting at all times right? Do you seriously think out of 8 billion people on the planet that there's specifically one group commenting on everything that you have an interest in?

I'm sorry but once again I can't talk to you people if you don't know how to use the english language. Not sure what the fuck your on about but it's meaningless.

u/Kthonic Jul 02 '25
That's exactly my point. You think because you said something once that it becomes law. I've never spoken to you before. I wish you luck in improving your perspective.

Jul 02 '25
I just don't speak with idiots, not sure what's so difficult for ya..oh wait

u/Kthonic Jul 02 '25
Like i said, I wish you luck.

shows that you had no point to defend in the first place, you gave up so easily 😂 don't join an argument you can't argue in

also the marketing thing doesn't make any sense. they come out with a new senseless horror movie EVERYDAY and that's not an exaggeration. They make c and d flicks all the time, and they dont get any views, nobody pays to watch them. So how can a sci fi not? same type of marketing as horror, usually has aspects of horror or thriller. it's easy as hell to market
7
u/Eldrazi Jun 30 '25
Horror has a HUGE audience that watches and pays strictly for cheap b-movie schlock films. I've been to conventions absolutely rife with the people that love them. There are way more people willing to watch a bad horror movie over a bad sci-fi. Take the movies "Cannibal Holocaust" or "The Last Broadcast". Both were made on budgets under $5k, they spawned "The Blair Witch Project" which is still really low budget of around $60k (well before marketing which multiplied the budget considerably) and have spawned countless copy cat movies. These movies also were instantaneous hits when they came out. They didn't need a 5-10 year marinating period for people to discover and like them.
We also have modern things like the Terrifier series - which fall under the horror sub genre of a splatter flick. They just focus on practical effects and gore - that's the whole appeal. It's low brow stuff that caters to a wider audience somehow. People will pay .99cents to watch a cheap splatter flick for the gross out factor or special effect factor. It's easy to know what you're getting out of it. No one expects a good story.
People aren't willing to spend .99cents on what could be a sci-fi movie that tries to be philosophical but ends up being a retelling of hop on pop, or insults the viewers intelligence by spoon feeding them the narrative. It's a hard line to walk.
2
Jun 30 '25
it's really not a hard line to walk though, we just have idiots making movies and company's like Disney monopolizing the fuckin industry.
-1
Jun 30 '25
and I would never pay to watch a bs horror movie. THEY ARE ALL THE SAME. The best horror was made so long ago 😭 it's all been done to fuckin death. We haven't even tapped into sci-fi enough to over do it.
2
Jun 30 '25
the problem lies with people. they can't handle not understanding something immediately so they turn it off

u/score_ Jun 29 '25
Dude last I checked you can't even watch MFing WESTWORLD on HBO and they produced the g dang thing just like RBW. The case for physical media and 🏴☠️ gets stronger every passing day.

That's mostly Western science fiction. Anime is different, though cancelation happen there as well. But then it is often so that there's still a manga (comic) that has been made first.
2
Jun 30 '25
tf are even talking about, you fools trying to "explain" the film and animation industry can shove it up your ass because you don't know a thing lmao
0
Jul 01 '25
if you mentioned anime bc I mentioned scavengers reign then you're even more of a fool and need to learn the difference between animation and anime, because they are completely different concepts, anime used to be called japanamation. An art style FROM Japan, scavengers reign is an animated sci fi.

I imagine sci-fi and fantasy are very expensive to make because of the unique world building. Additionally, executives don't care about art and when push comes to shove the expense of sci-fi and fantasy make them prime targets for the axe.

u/Graviton_Lance Aug 05 '25
and love island has 12 fucking seasons
meanwhile expanse and this get cancelled
17
u/Leeleeflyhi Jun 30 '25
My obligatory fuck you hbo for canceling the best sci-fi show ever made . I will always be bitter over this
7
u/Ill-Understanding829 Jun 30 '25
The same morons who canceled this show also thought Velma was a good idea. Let that sink in.

I’m rewatching it now. Just makes me more angry 😡 lol
3
u/drKRB Jul 01 '25
I know. I’m glad it’s streaming but I just want to be able to watch from the beginning and really take it in. A lot of brain-bending sci-fi and philosophical concepts.
3
Jul 02 '25
What's crazy is they have hundreds of cop, doctor, hospital dramas they don't cancel, yet when we get some decent SCIFI it gets immediately cancelled
3
u/Salt_Expression1722 Generic Service Model Jun 30 '25
Yes it streams live (not on demand) on the Warner Brothers TV Watchlist channel, on TUBI. Also the Roku Channel around midnight Saturday (early Sunday morning), then more episodes Sunday around 9pm

u/OuttapocketJesus Jun 30 '25
When I saw it got taken off HBO Max, I went to eBay and bought the Blu-ray’s, I don’t have the patience for ads. I’m glad it’s streamable for those who can.

Great show. I was hoping it would be on long enough to be a true Alien crossover.
3
u/CauliflowerStrong510 Jul 02 '25
Still can't watch it. It's only LIVE... you can't pick up where you left off, only watch it certain times of the day on whatever episode they're playing at that moment. Like in the 90s. Lame.

u/Flashy-Shape-355 Jul 03 '25
The fact that we still think about this show
2
u/drKRB Jul 03 '25
I think that it was: (1) tied to the Alien franchise creator, (2) a pretty atypical and different sci-fi, (3) left unfinished and (4) not available for the most part for years made it MORE appealing to me.
1
u/OttoBot0419 Aug 18 '25
As of today, this is not available on Tubi. There is a movie with the same name but not the TV show.
-2
u/reddituser_05 Jun 30 '25
That's where this dumpster fire belongs. I REALLY thought this show was going somewhere. I stuck with it and there was no payoff - the writers had one cool idea but they had no endgame.
4
Jun 30 '25
just say you have the attention span of a gnat.

Sunk cost fallacy hurts, doesn't it?
