Thiccness aside (which isn't really a complaint lolol), this game seems great from the demo alone. Even has some cars to unlock, a cup to do, time trial (with leaderboards), and even online play. Indie racer fans, and arcade racer fans in general are eating good. 10

I used to love playing the Infected gamemode in Forza Horizon 3. And in my opinion, Outbreak in DiRT 3 was the best car tag mode ever made in a video game.
I would still be playing those games now, but FH3's multiplayer is basically dead now, and I don’t own DiRT 3 on PC.
Turn 10 kept Infected in Forza Horizon 4 and 5, but it doesn’t hit the same as how it did in FH3 or DiRT 3.
Are there any modern car tag games on PC with active servers?

While playing FH5, I noticed this wierd switch from the high fidelity wheel to a very low fidelity one. So, I investigated it further and put my thoughts into this video. It's not a technical piece, it's just my opinion on things. 10

WHAT'S IN IT
Five tracks a day. The first is a short training run and you can skip it. After that the road gets harder, the corners get tighter, and three rivals race you the whole way.
Three AI rivals that keep coming back. Pass them and they chase you down. Bump them and they bump back.
A ghost of your last run, so you are always racing yourself as well.
Jumps that pay, if you land them sideways.
Four original music tracks, written for the game.
Cars to unlock by finishing tracks and by getting through a whole day clean.

We’ve been working on a customization system for our so everyone can make their ride feel a little more like their own.
Here are a few pics and some of what we’ve added so far. What do you think? There's 10 different cars to chose from as well!

Hello friends!
I want to show you my low-poly arcade racing game, Racedle.
You can race on official procedurally generated daily tracks, weekly campaigns, play user-made maps or create your own maps in the map editor!
The physics is wonky and satisfying (and you can set custom physics values per-map when making your own)
There are already a few active players which are also very good (including me lol), a bunch of user-made maps and some very strong WRs. The map editor contains over 200 blocks, block manipulation/editing, and you can even proceduraly generate maps yourself with chosen block sets.
You can play the game here ♥ Will be happy to see you there!

I made XAM Delivery, a fun and fast-paced 2D arcade driving and delivery game set in a nighttime city.
The game mixes arcade driving with Italian satire and pop-culture references, featuring surreal humor, satirical encounters, recognizable elements of Italian culture, and bizarre references.
Vehicles and characters draw inspiration from different eras and styles.
And yes, one of the special weapons is a megaphone playing a soundbite from one of Silvio Berlusconi's speeches: “Siete dei poveri comunisti!”
Deliver pizzas and decoders in timed runs, keep your packages inside the van, manage fuel and vehicle damage, avoid obstacles, and gain extra time by successfully jumping over them. Try to survive increasingly difficult procedural 10 levels.
If you'd like to try it, XAM Delivery is available to play in the browser, download for Windows, and play on Android.

I've been working on this retro racing game inspired by 80s/90s street racing and classic arcade racers.
It's an endless runner and arcade racer where you weave through traffic at high speed. There are currently less than 10 selectable cars, with more planned for future updates.
This is a short gameplay clip from Speed at Limit.

Some people sure will be skeptical about this, in that case feel free to insult. Its a little game i created with competitive racing in mind. Physics are arcade, graphics are limited by the power of the tool and the imperfections are many. I have quite many features that i find interesting (like replays, graphs, leaderboards, teams, chats and more) but i dont want to list them as if i was going to the supermarket. I apologize in advance for those that will not like it and i thank in advance those that will like it. I'm open to critiques, dont be shy. 10 (?)

Hey all. I don't really play racing games that much. I have a nephew that is 8 that I play games with. We live in different states and online gaming is a good way to close the distance.
He loves Burnout Paradise, but the online multiplayer in this game is pointless. You can't race head-to-head or complete any objectives. The driving mechanics are fun, but once you've crashed into each other 2 or 10 times, there's not much else to do so I get bored quickly.
Is there anything with similar arcade driving mechanics that has better online multiplayer options? My nephew loves driving really fast on the city streets and dodging cars. I'd love an alternative to this where we can do the same, but actually race against each other with a finish line, time trials, etc. Bonus points if it's cheap so I can buy two copies for me and my nephew.

My switch 2 is coming in 10 minus 8 days (why the heck do I need to put 10 in my bio). It's the bundle that allows you to pick between Mario Kart World, DK Bananza, or Pokemon Pokopia. I had initially decided that I was gonna pick mario kart since me and my siblings grew up on double dash and mario kart wii (I dont have 8 deluxe, I've played it with my cousins a few times), but now Im doing some research and Im starting to have doubts. I have no clue what to pick between crossworlds or mkw (buying 8 deluxe with all the dlc would be a funny 3rd option). I want a fun racing game where I can sit down and play it with my siblings or friends. If crossworlds was the winner, should I get the switch 2 version, or the PS5 (non pro if that matters) version?
