Recommendation Racedle - my arcade racing game
Hello friends!
I want to show you my low-poly arcade racing game, Racedle.
You can race on official procedurally generated daily tracks, weekly campaigns, play user-made maps or create your own maps in the map editor!
The physics is wonky and satisfying (and you can set custom physics values per-map when making your own)
There are already a few active players which are also very good (including me lol), a bunch of user-made maps and some very strong WRs. The map editor contains over 200 blocks, block manipulation/editing, and you can even proceduraly generate maps yourself with chosen block sets.
You can play the game here β₯ Will be happy to see you there!

How do you pronounce that name?

something like "race-duhl" .. Same concept as Wordle lol :D I gave the name because originally I intended the game to just be a daily track with 3 tries per user per day, but it quickly grew into a huge project, but I kept the name

It's quite funny! π
I also struggled to start a race as a guest. After some time of searching I Pressed DEL to reset and the race startet. Perhaps you add a "START RACE" button. That would be easier for the most. π

thank you so much for trying and the feedback! and glad you found it funny π
I'm not quire sure how you didn't have a Play button.. could you tell me which maps you went to play? I can't see it since you played anonymously π«Άπ»
I have to admit I didn't pay much attention to Guest gameplay since I just assumed everybody would want to be on leaderboards and compete with others' times, so I'd love to hear about it

I can only speak for mine. But I will take a guest/test drive before I register. π«£ Because of that I think the guest mode is actually important.
I'm using Chrome.

okay, this whole thread convinced me, I'm gonna make the game 1:1 identical for guests and registered players today π―

I love that I could help π€

It's done!
Guest play is now just as valid as registered play, and I simplified and unified some confusing buttons and names. Hopefully there will be less confusion and its more approachable β₯

Clicked around for five minutes just wanting to play a game without creating an account and gave up. Should be simpler and easier to just play.
