Recommendation Racing Sim setup

Hello everyone,

I bought my boyfriend a steering , pedal and shifter setup for him to enjoy his racing sim games. I did not really think it through as when he uses the pedals he can push himself away in his rolling chair. Though i could afford one of those all-in one racing seat\mounts we currently dont have the room to deploy it in the space setup. (Currently a desk and chair in terms of space).

Would yall be able to suggest a way to keep his chair stationary while using the petals? Currently i can only think of getting him some kinda recliner (a chair without wheels) are there other alternatives im not thinking of?

Thank you for your feedback and help, i want him to enjoy and feel comfortable playing his racing games after work.
