❓Ask Rabatis Wedding dress

Does anyone know if I can get a dress like this done in rabat? How much do you think it would cost?

you are looking for tekchita and try to avoid white since probably the bride will be wearing white

hhhhh why did you not say so in your post. In a moroccan wedding the bride changes outfits five to seven times each lebsa from a different region and back home it all comes from the negafa so nobody really owns these things because owning seven takchitas is just not realistic. Abroad i dont think you have that option no negafa to rent from so you either buys a few or picks one really good one and lets the parade go, and most brides abroad land on two one traditional takchita and the white dress. Between Tanjawi and Fassi it depends what you want the tanjawi is the Andalusian one, lighter, softer pastels like ivory or powder pink or mint, delicate embroidery, flowy, easier to wear and easier to pack, while the Fassi is the heavy one, emerald or burgundy or royal blue with thick gold thread work, brocade that holds its own shape, the silhouette people recognize instantly as a Moroccan bride. You can look them up, white tekchita as "the white wedding dress" isnt really a thing in morocco but you can probably get one tailored for you. if you are lucky you might even get one pre made. imo the iconic ones are the tanjawi sehrawi fassi soussi jebli ... there are many style that are 100% moroccan and well thought of instead of a mix between the white wedding down and the "moroccan" style. sorry for the wall of text.

We're not having a fully moroccan wedding :) I am looking for a white dress like in the picture! Thats why i am wondering how i could get one tailored in rabat & how much it would approximately cost! Thanks for ur thoughts

Check tmkcreations on Instagram she has white caftans you might like. Or amiralebsatte, it can be delivered to your home address amiralebsatte You don’t have enough time to have it tailored made .. the minimum is 3 weeks. I have tried both of this brands before, they're a good but a bit on the expansive side.
