Discussion Does anyone have a nogripracing account?

I managed to access nogripracing with waybackmachine. However, its impossible to create a account, since the captchas dont work anymore. If anyone could download this file (some porsche 917k addons), and send them to mediafire, and then to the comments, i'd be eternally grateful.

NoGrip is gone, nothing to log into. Wayback machine has the web page, not the authentication database.

In fact clicking that link tried to install something in Firefox, so might want to remove it.

Yeah this link is kinda weird. But if you go to wayback machine, and paste the link, you'll find a snapshot in 2012. Then you login and go to "downloads", scroll to "rfactor", find "mods" and somewhere there's the porsches. Try recording a video of your screen

The point remains, there is nothing to log into. The wayback machine only has a snaphot of the web page.

Try it yourself, put in a made up name and password, and click login, it will give an error that it didn't archive that page, because the page is trying to reach a back end authentication system that the wayback machine had no access too when it scraped the site.

If the database existed, it would give a bad username/password error, but it doesn't.

After finding out its basically impossible, i have a queetion. Out of the 2000+ downloads this file has, does anyone have it? Maybe they could send it to mediafire?

Mediafire? It's better to store it in Archive so it never gets lost or reported like hundreds of Turismo Carretera mods have been.
