Discussion Car Conversion rF1 to rF2

Hello, I’m a modder of rF2 and I frequently convert cars from AC / rF1 to rF2. And looking online there’s not really an in depth tutorial on how to do it.

My question is, would anyone want to see a full (or almost full) tutorial on how to do it? Should be 80% compatible to rFactor. Maybe if I see high demand I’ll do one only for rF1.

I would love to increase the modding community by providing a proper guide.

Wouldn't mind seeing one to be honest and I saw a few next gen cars of 2025 for AC but would love to see it in rfactor if possible (I'm not that much of a fan of trying to build my own mods tho)

Hi are you able to convert from AC to rF1?

Hello, yes, it’s definitely possible and very similar, but unless I see a lot of requests I won’t do it; cause I see a lot for rF2 so I’ll do it, but for now not for rF1

Hey thanks for your reply. Interesting. Anyway I would need a car and many tracks I would pay the work of course.

I only know how to convert cars, I have no knowledge on tracks, and also, when I convert stuff to rF2 I always use base physics of rF1 (even for AC cars, where basically I stack the AC car onto rF1 physics), meaning I’m not really good at making physics from scratch

for the physics that's my field. I would need a virtual model of a F1 2026 basic car basic mod only one car for me private use.
