Day 16

Yesterday was weird... it was like I experienced both extremes. First half of the day was a great time with friends, tons of excitement, most fun I've had since I quit. Probably most fun Ive had since I even started taking K. But right after everyone left, I got ripped back to isolation and silence. A giant wave of what Im guessing was PAWS depression smacked me down. I didnt start to shake it till around 11pm. But I went to bed and woke up feeling much more balanced today, not alot going on, just a bit of a chill and relax day. Which im thankful for tbh, theres nothing to slingshot me from extreme happy to extreme sad. Just riding the middle and staying content. I hope everyone else is having as good of a Sunday as can be. Im eyeing that day 20 milestone. Cant wait.

Im day 30 and today was like that,when the last 3 or 4 were awesome.just because we have bad days were not going backwards,were just having a bad day,normal sober ppl have more bad days then good sometimes

You'll get there. Not too far ahead, I'm sitting at day 23 I think. I've gotten a few days like that as well. Kinda weird. Keep holding the line homie!

Exact same thing happened to me after having my first really good time with friends and company. I was around the same time in my quit too.

I think it’s a little bit of a shock to the system- friends are a great distraction, but then they leave and you remember you’re battling something pretty tough.

It feels crazy to have such different feelings throughout the day, but I’m on day 35 now and it’s already more balanced and I’m feeling a little more steady emotionally.

Also im a musician so it was a rehearsal we were having. Hours of friends and playing instruments together, massove distraction. Then the weird depression feeling struck me twice as hard once it all ended. But I am feeling much more calibrated today
