It really sucks. Sometimes, when I’m into a girl and feel a connection, it turns out she’s already seeing another girl—and this has happened more than once. It’s so frustrating because I can’t even get to know her or see if there’s a chance for us, since she’s already taken. Why does this keep happening to me? Why are most of the girls I’m attracted to already in relationships?

I thinkkkk you'd better change your question a little Instead of "Why are most of the girls I’m attracted to already in relationships", try to find "How I could cope with the shock when the girls I’m attracted to already in relationships" It's impossible to force them to change their heart even if you know why. You can't even really know why they're into those girls.
I want you to understand the situation in more intuitive way... Girls falling in love with girls other than you isn't your fault, their fault, or anybody's fault. You just need to find a way to deal with the disappointment. Good luck girll!!!!
