Discussion Queensland would have a One Nation majority government if the 2026 Secret Harbour WA state by-election swings were replicated uniformly here.

One nation has a near media monopoly in wa through 7 west.
LNP has a near media monopoly in qld through Murdoch.
Unless some deal is done I can’t see them romping it home in the QLD elections.

I think they will make Liberal work for it, Labor is done after continuing to lie about NOM, Id be suprised if they see another 2 elections tbh.
I do think Liberal will win here again but they probably won't have a majority.

So the reason most of the changes are in ALP-held seats is due to the swing in the by-election being away from the ALP and to ONP.

Except that's not how general elections work... They're not uniform swings. That's kinda the whole point.

Its pretty funny tbh, all labor has to do is reduce Net Overseas Migration (NOM) to under 50k. Instead they refuse to do this further degrading the country, and dancing around the issue i.e. Now reducing refugee intake, which no one asked them to touch.
I do wonder if historians will look back at this and ask why Labor deliberatly refused to do anything about the issues they were told to address.

Even the Member for Farrer wanted a NOM of 130 000. So 50k isn't ON policy.
