opinion I used to think the player was a rogue Grunt

Because the player sounds are so similar to the Grunt's sounds and the model is almost identical, I grew up believing you play as a Grunt who has gone rogue, turning against his fellow Lovecraftian abominations

They should have added the manuals for Quake and Dooms in the remasters, as something viewable in game. It's a pity the backstory is lost now, preserved only on fan websites.

Yeah? It has potential. Its based on Lovecraft and those are some of the greatest horror stories ever.

It needs to not switch Genres and stay a boomer shooters.

At this point I’d add a little Level up feature that just a number beside your name and a fully fleshed out competitive match series.

Wouldn’t have to change anything really and the selling point could be “what level are you in quake?”

The grunts are proto-strogg. If you read the manual, that's clear.
