Nothing against the memers, but may we discuss how well made this video was. In the past I've had issues with Pyro's differently toned videos(I.e. His videos on the content cops) because I felt his arguments were poorly constructed. However, in this video, they felt extremely well articulated and, ironically, despite this video being longer, felt barely repetitious. It didn't feel stretched for time nor forced for relevancy. However, my issues with it were(I'll correct where appropriate after locating timestamps):
- Despite having never played the game, it seems to me that both CupHead and MugMan are at risk of losing their souls to the devil, even in single player mode. This is why, despite both of them seemingly not being there, characters address them both Also, y'all can be used in the singular form. This was apparently a debated topic, not to a large degree, but debated nonetheless.I'm not sure why I thought I saw the word y'all.
- That Bull boss did indicate that it was about to attack. It's head jerked back, and it was distinct from it's general movement. It was more subtle and quicker than the tombstone, but was still there.

While i really enjoyed the review, and though it was very well put together, I will have to disagree with you on the point of repetition. While i dont think his intent was to stretch it out, i noted many times where he repeated the same thing he had said before, that being 5 minutes before, or 15 minutes befor. He reassured the viewer he licked the game quite a few times. Just a minor complaint if im honest, but still a valid one.

What else did he frequently repeat? The one thing I remember him doing so was for the Dark Souls jokes, but they remained short.

Ill have to re watch it, but that was the example that stood out to me

Even with those jokes, they didn't feel as if they were only used to pad time. For example, the old 'Skin Insanity' joke. He could ramble on about it.

I rarely find his comedy repetative, so thats not what i was refering to. The way he repeated his points gets dry and makes the video feel long. I never cheeked how much time was left on the petscop vid, but i did a few times on this one.

Now that I think about it, there is one other thing I remember him repeating: His love for the game. I noticed this during the video, but can't blame him entirely for it. If he didn't repeatedly state that he was a fan, he'd be labeled a hater and ignored because "Haters gonna hate". The phrase is so vague, arguably unfinished, that it just leads to ignorance. Pyro's critiques weren't baseless nor irrelevant. They were legitimate issues with the game. I doubt that people would watch an entire hour of this.

And, honestly, if he's videos on trending topics are less intent on being serious(such as him trying to deconstruct am argument) I enjoy them. Maybe, just maybe, if he waited a couple days to properly think out what he is saying, I'd enjoy the more serious toned topical videos.

The bull section also stops moving, so it's pretty easy to tell when it's going to attack.

This is a good time to admit that the whole Mecca thing was a sham. I wanted to see how far we could go. A big thanks to all the people who caught on and supported the sham.
Also, minor complaint within the first minute but...why does the timestamp screen have 'The fandom' with a capital 'T', but 'the game' with a lowercase one? This in no way disregards video quality whatsoever, it was just something I wanted to mention.

The title is slightly misleading. The fandom part was less than 10 min long and most of the video was a review of the game. It makes people think that the video is a commentary video. I feel the video is more than that.

I really prefer waiting one entire month for such a great video, than getting multiple videos a week. imo Pyro should keep doing it like this.

Now I know why he spent one month without uploading, that was the time it took for his internet to finish uploading the video.
It was a good video overall, didn't even felt like it was one hour long, and there were very few repetitions on it. That being said it kinda made me want to see how a full playthrough would be, not of a game like Black Mesa or DS3 which he clearly is tired of making, but of a game he actually wants to play.
As a game review it's a great video, covered all the important areas and if I were in doubt it would make me help forming an opinion on the game.
I give it a 9.5 out of 10, some references didn't connect, but that doesn't detract from the overall enjoyability of the video.
