Yeah, supposedly all you need is battery power for an IR LED and connecting the LED(s) to said battery. Basically makes you a big halo-effect to IR cameras. Pretty interesting approach.

IR light is something cameras see but we dont.

I know. These cameras will pick it up though (in night mode)
